We had such a nice day. Our guide, Chris Kona was fabulous. He we a wealth of knowledge. He was funny and kept us entertained all day long. Visiting the Volcano national park will be a highlight for us. We also walked through a lava tube! We enjoyed meeting our fellow participants and we could not have asked for a better tour of the” the Big Island!!”
The big island of Hawaii is so large that one person couldn't see everything or know all the details about each place. This trip was incredible. We started with a coffee tour that overlooked Captain Cook’s Bay. Next, we went to a black sand beach, which was a really unique experience. We saw several sea turtles and enjoyed lunch right there on the beach. After that, we visited Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where we saw a volcano erupting smoke. We also explored the heat vents and lava tubes. The tour was so convenient because our guide dropped us off directly at each spot, which saved us time and avoided crowded parking areas. It allowed us to see a lot in just one day. We also visited two waterfalls and finished up at a scenic lookout. It was an amazing day tour that let us see a lot of the big island in a single day. Our guide, Ian, was fantastic. He shared interesting stories about the history and wildlife of the island, and he was always ready to help us with umbrellas and rain jackets in case of rain.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about everything on the tour. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave us a ton of recommendations to check out. It was very enjoyable!
We toured the island with Kona Chris! He was amazing!! So knowledgeable, a great storyteller and made the entire experience so fun! The tour was already great, but he made it unforgettable!
The tour covers several sites with ample time to enjoy each location. Lunch was good. The added stop at the Chocolate Factory was delicious.
This island is a massive, special and magical place! Our experience on this tour was brought to life and boosted by our knowledgeable and personable tour guide Henry. His way of storytelling and engaging all of us tour members is extremely top notch (he even had some of the people from other tours trying to listen in, he is that good at it!). We felt more than satisfied with the experience by the end and were able to see so many of the different things this island has to offer. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get an in depth glimpse at this amazing place in the world!
Just completed an all day excursion of the big island with Uncle Henry and it was amazing. A gorgeous day with a guide that was a wealth of information about the island’s history and stories. The itinerary takes you completely around the island. The lunch was very good, even my kids enjoyed it. Request Henry and you won’t be disappointed. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! Thank you for making today a memorable moment for my family’s vacation.
My husband and I loved this tour! Kona Chris was our guide and he did an outstanding job of keeping us informed about nature, history, and what to expect. He was funny, articulate and made the trip such a fun adventure. It's a long day and a lot of driving from place to place, but this island is huge and we feel as though we saw a lot of it! Black sand beach, lava tube, volcano, gorgeous waterfalls, etc., etc.! If you have the stamina for an 11 hour tour, this is the one! Enjoy!
We were lucky enough to have been booked with Brett today for our all day tour. He was incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the island. He answered every question we had and kept it fun. Brett showed a lot of care towards his group and I would 100% recommend booking with him if possible!
Brett was great, the family and I hit a bump in the road but he was able to accommodate and find a solution for us. He is also a great story teller/history buff and surprisingly made that 11 hour tour go by very fast. I’d recommend requesting for Brett because he made this whole tour a great memory for the family and I! Thanks again to Brett for helping us explore all of Kona.
