A great day visiting Vinicunca and the Red Valley, one of the wonders of Peru. The interest and accompaniment of our guide Alejandro, along with the food prepared by Bernardino, have made this day stay in our memory forever. Great experience with a wonderful guide
Great experience. The sightseeing is astonishing.
The guide care about each people and allowing us to take the needed time to hike and take pictures. I definitely recommend this day trip.

Wonderful experience.
It was an incredible experience, our guide Romario was very attentive and kind and gave us the necessary time to enjoy and take photos. The only thing that displeased me a little was that the driver, Mr. Julio, got upset because of "us being late" and drove very fast, which made me nervous.

Awesome, excellent, recommended experience!
We went with Romario, he was an excellent guide, very patient and the experience was awesome! We took our time, we walked slowly and we never rushed which is exactly what we wanted.
Also the ride on the bus was smooth and quick, Julio is such an excellent driver.
Finally, the meals cooked by Ismael were delicious and tasty. Such a great and fulfilling experience!

Unforgettable Tour
The weather was perfect for our tour. Pickup was quite early to account for Cusco traffic, but our guide Romario made it worthwhile — he was patient with our many breaks and looked after us with genuine compassion throughout.

Recommended experience
Everything was perfect, pickup at the hotel and then starting the activity; it was quite difficult to complete, but with the patience and energy that our guide Romario transmitted to us, everything went as it should. He also showed us alternative paths that not many people knew about so we could get our fantastic photos and so the path wouldn't feel so heavy, always asking us and with the group's consensus. Thank you very much for the experience.

Great Experience and Guide for Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley with picnic
After our Inca Trail Trek was cancelled because of closure of trail because of weather, we booked a few other shorter excursions with Trexperience including this one day Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Tour. We did the option with picnic breakfast and lunch.
Our guide Romario was incredible -- the best Trexperience guide of the three we had during our different excursions! He was friendly, patient, spoke excellent English and had a real knack for sharing interesting tidbits of culture and knowledge along the way. Having him as our guide really enhanced our whole experience!
It was an early morning pick-up with a 2.5 hour drive to our picnic site up in the mountains, We had a delicious breakfast before continuing to the trail-head. The hike itself, challenging because of the altitude, was incredible with amazing views both along the way, but especially at the top. There were many people at the summit of Vinicunca (Rainbow Mtn.) and you have to wait in a bit of a line to get your turn at a photo with no other people in it. Then we continued a bit further to the Red Valley which honestly was even more beautiful (particularly because it was much less crowded)! The vistas were stunning! And plenty of wild alpaca along the way too!
Finally, we hiked back and then had another delicious meal waiting for us before the drive back to Cusco.
I would whole-heartedly recommend this experience! Do yourself a favor and request Romario -- he was the best!
