Excellent experience on a lovely olive farm setting. Ilina made pasta and sauce making easy and memorable. Nonna's homemade lemoncello was an unexpected bonus.

My wife and I stayed a month in Italy and each week had 10 different guests at the villa. Every week each group attended Alina’s Slow Cooking school. Across the board all four groups expressed that it was one of the top experiences in Italy. It was a very hands on experience making plentiful and amazing dishes from scratch using organic ingredients. We shared the food along with wine in a beautiful classic Italian countryside setting under a vine covered pergola. Alina made it fun, educational and festive. In addition we had the opportunity to experience their olive oil production. A highly recommended experience.

We joined Alina’s cooking class with the whole family, including our teenagers, and every single one of us loved it. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Alina welcomes you so naturally into her beautiful Italian home — honestly, it feels like a little piece of paradise. The setting is gorgeous, the atmosphere warm and relaxed, and Alina herself is incredibly kind, generous and full of energy. You learn a lot, you cook delicious food, you laugh, you eat… and then you get to sit down together afterwards and enjoy everything you’ve made around the table. That part was just as special as the cooking itself. And yes, it may technically be *slow cooking* — but it is taught in a wonderfully speedy, very Italian way. 😉 Full of passion, stories, tips and enthusiasm from start to finish. It really doesn’t get much more authentic than this. Delicious food, a beautiful setting, a heartfelt welcome and such a generous experience.

What an incredible experience! Alina and Lucia were wonderful hosts. We were a family of 5 with 2 children (aged 14 & 11). The workshop was great for all! We made pastas including gnocchi, a tomato risotto and a summer tiramisu. All were super delicious! It was fascinating to see where the olive oil is produced too. Highly recommend! We would visit again!

We went as a family of five, kids aged 11, 14 and 17. We contacted the place directly and received an immediate reply. We went in the morning and cocked for lunch. We made different types of pasta including a lasagna. It was a lot of fun, very competently organized and we all learned a lot even though we had done a pasta cooking course before. The kids loved it too. The food we cooked we ate all together in the very pleasant setting of the farm. We had already visited the olive mill before so we let the other guest do that on their own. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Il Fontanaro Slow Cooking School with Alina Pinelli. Together with our family and friends, we enjoyed a fun and relaxed day making fresh pasta, delicious meat sauce and a lovely dessert. Alina was a warm and welcoming host and a great guide throughout the cooking. The beautiful surroundings and lovely atmosphere made the experience even more special. A truly memorable Italian experience that we would highly recommend!

What a fabulous experience! We learned about so many fun pasta techniques, layering flavors and the health benefits of a good quality olive oil. The olive oil this family produces is incredible too!!! We shared the class with one family with 3 delightful children and Alina did such a good job giving the kids things to make on their own. I can’t recommend this enough—great memories!!!

We had such an incredible day with Alina, from start to finish it was more than we had hoped for. The whole experience was seamless and felt very personal. We can highly recommend this to others. She was also able to cater for a gluten free diet which was very helpful. It was a nice to also take some food home. Thank you Alina for a lovely day.

This was a highlight of our Italy trip!!! We absolutely loved Alina and her expertise. We thoroughly enjoyed learning to cook authentic Italian food. This meal was the most delicious food we had in our 11 day trip around Rome, Umbria & Cinque Terre! I would definitely recommend this cooking class!

I have had many cooking experiences but this has been by far my favorite. To start with, the space is dreamy! The farm and their home are just beautiful. A very calming and welcoming space. Alina was so kind to my kids ( 7 and 4) and helped providing toys and things for them when they couldn’t stay engaged in the class. We also loved the folks who attended the class. Lunch was fun and delicious ( the very food we cooked!). Do this! Totally worth it
