Ocean was calm, sunset was beautiful. We shared a boat with 50 people. All benches are wood plank so after a while, get a bit uncomfortable. As for the squid fishing, we went knowing the likelihood of actually catching a squid was remote. One fella caught a small squid. Didn't see anyone else catch one. We didn't care. Jigging off the side of the boat was easy, anyone can do it, and when you get tured if that, you can just enjoy the ocean, the lights on bay, and the people ariund you. We primarily went for the boat ride and dinner. We enjoyed the dinner. Dinner was a seafood chowder, BBQ shrimp skewers, noodles and fruit. Bottled water was freely available. You could also order and pay extra for a variety of different clams to be prepared specifically for you. We enjoyed our time. We are seniors from Canada
