The Pyramids were incredible to see and truly worth the visit. Unfortunately, our experience was heavily impacted by our travel advisor, Mohsen Azmy. Throughout the day he repeatedly asked for additional money and took us to multiple stops where we were pressured by local businesses. Instead of focusing on enjoying the Pyramids, our group felt taken advantage of. We had paid for the tour already, yet the constant upselling and harassment made the day stressful rather than enjoyable. If you don’t mind throwing extra money around, this tour might suit you — but for us, it was about seeing the Pyramids, not being pushed into unnecessary expenses. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend this guide.

That was a great experience, very informative and value of money. The journey length was as described. The atmosphere was friendly. It wasn't crowded. Now I have more amazing memories to look back in my life.

We hired a Private Driver to take us to all the sights in Saqqara and Memphis Egypt. He was a great driver. We put our itinerary together snd he took us to every place and did not rush us. We spent 7 hours touring these areas. From the Step, Red, and Bent Pyramids, where we went inside every pyramid. The Bent Pyramid is the most difficult to Explore, followed by the Red. These are much more strenuous than the Great Khufu pyramid in Giza. I enjoyed them better, but you need to be in good shape to climb into these pyramids. We also visited the sights of Memphis. Our Driver’s name was Ahmed. His Tel. Number is +20 100 510 1065. He was recommended from the Cario Marriott. We just have him list of the 9 items we wanted to see. We did not care about stops to carpet stores or other souvenir shops. It is your tour and he will take you to only the sights that interests you. We paid $100 USD, and give him a nice tip. He was polite and waited for us in the parking lot when we were done. We were never rushed and enjoyed taking our time exploring the sites. I highly recommend Ahmed. His car was clean and new. It is so nice not going with tour group companies.

Great half day trip in Saqqara and Memphis. It ended up being a solo tour (credit to Intrepid for still having it run!). Mohamed was an excellent guide, and I learnt a lot. Given the Pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara is older than the Giza Pyramids, it was ideal to do this tour first, before my main tour starts.

This was a great tour and we saw and heard things that we wouldn’t have heard and seenon any other trips. Because I did it prior to the main tour around Luxor etc. It gave me a lot more context and made my Egypt visit more enjoyable. Our guide Wael was highly knowledgeable and presented everything in a enjoyable and understandable way where we really got a feeling for the country and it’s history. I would highly recommend this tour.

We have done the activity and it has been a wonderful experience, we have learned and seen many things and our guide Ahmed Nashaat has attended us phenomenal. It is 100% recommended and if you can ask Ahmed Nadhaat to attend you as he does explains phenomenal and is very attentive at all times.
