Excellent tour. Professional, timely, and flexible from start to finish. George built the itinerary around my interests rather than a rigid template. My personal driver, also named George, was equally professional and informative. Pickup and timing were punctual, and they adapted smoothly as the day went on. The vineyard visit and wine tasting was great. Strong value for a private tour. Highly recommended.

If you are a fan of wine tasting and have experienced proper tastings, this is not the tour for you. I would say it was more of a private driver experience than a tour. Our driver was safe with a clean car, but did not speak much English to explain where we were or what we were seeing. Stop 1: Wine Cave This was OK. There was a short tour, but we had to wait about 25 minutes for another tour group to show up because they wouldn't let us do the tour until there were more people. The tasting was also only about 5 minutes. they pour the wine with little to no explanation, you basically gulp it down, and then you're asked to leave the caves. Stop 2: Sighnagi Town We were told cars could not drive through and had to pay 150 GEL for a golf cart to take us to the sights. After the golf cart ride, our car then drove us on the exact same road to lunch, so the whole thing felt scammy. The wine tasting in Sighnagi was about 60 seconds. The restaurant poured a tasting, had us drink it in one gulp, and then immediately poured the next one. There was no explanation of the wines or anything about the tasting. For the lunch, we did not have a reservation or anything, so the driver had to push the waiters to let us have a table. Stop 3: KTW KTW is not really a winery or tasting location. It's a roadside store where large tour buses stop to buy bottles. The staff completely ignored us since we were not part of a tour group. Overall, if you are looking for an actual wine tour with explanations and proper tastings, i would look elsewhere. If you mainly want a driver to take you around the different stops, it works for that. Nothing was reserved or planned on our behalf.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The views on the way, especially through Gombori Pass, were breathtaking. The wine tasting at Kvareli Wine Cave was unique and very enjoyable.
