Where was the wine??? Stops at cities were great. Lunch at restaurant was average at best and they were so cheap with the wine. Embarrassing to get 2 tastings of 1 ounce at the restaurant and the embarrassing wine maker in Montalcino

Wine Tasting Standards: Across the entire day trip—between Montepulciano and Montalcino—guests enjoy two distinct wine tasting sessions, totaling 4 glasses of premium regional wine. As standard industry practice worldwide, structured wine tastings involve measured pours (typically 1.5–2 oz) designed specifically for sampling and appreciating the complex aromas and notes of fine wines (such as Vino Nobile and Brunello), rather than full-glass service.
We pride ourselves on offering authentic, high-end wine experiences with respected local producers, and we regret if the standard tasting format did not align with your personal expectations.

Did not enjoy
For starters, a tour that states it is a wine and food tour should focus mainly on that. The food served was average at best, even the appetiser had clearly been left out for a while and gone stale, and the wineries were the quickest visits we had, other than having to listen to people talk for extended periods of time instead of being able to drink the wine. Most of the time was spent sitting on the bus, including a lovely half hour stop in sienna for absolutely no reason. The tour guide was clearly hungover as we met her "friend" from the previous night at the bar in the morning. Everything was very disorganised and went way too long. We also had to sit through the smell of cigarette smoke every time we got back on the bus. The fact that every time we stopped somewhere we were just told to go have free time was very unprofessional too

Fantastic day. Niccolo was our great leader for the day. Would recommend the trip and Niccolo to anyone, he really knew his stuff.

This tour was wonderful! Manie (Sp.?) our tour guide was wonderfully pleasant and quite knowledgeable. Every place we visited was beautiful! Photos can’t capture the beauty and majesty of this region. My only regret is that I didn’t have enough room in my luggage for wine & o live oil.
