Great tour
Really great tour. We spent more time viewing the Last Supper than I had expected and were very close. The room wasn’t crowded as it was mostly just our tour group. Our guide helped us navigate the admission process which would have been confusing otherwise. She was a knowledgeable local which helped a lot. The meeting place was a bit chaotic at first but all worked out fine.

Poorly organized and chaotic
Switched meeting place the day before our tour after we chose our hotel based on distance to start of tour. Totally disorganized when we arrived at new meeting spot, combined two tour groups. Chaos! Leader was knowledgeable but kept saying we were late so felt like we were rushing around. Group was way too large-27 people! Expected us to have our tickets to the last supper which were never sent to anyone in the group but that was managements fault and not the tour guide. We have enjoyed other Viator tours but definately not this one.

Group Size: Our activity description clearly states the maximum capacity for this tour. Your group of 27 participants was fully within our advertised limit and strictly respected our policy for this experience. Last Supper Tickets: Tickets for the Last Supper are strictly controlled and are never issued to clients in advance. As per standard policy, they are held and provided directly by the tour leader on the day of the visit at the venue entrance. We appreciate that changes in logistics can be frustrating, but these decisions were made to safeguard your visit to the Last Supper while keeping the group strictly within the advertised capacity. Carmine was wonderful. I have done many tours like this in many places and he was the top tour guide I have ever had. His pace and information was all wonderful. Highly recommend.
