This tour was an extraordinary and unforgettable experience. The three of us booked the tour from Medellín to Guatapé, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Julian is an amazing guide-welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the region. We asked many questions along the way, and he took the time to answer every one of them with great detail. On the way to Guatapé we made several stops, which helped us better understand the culture and history of the area. One of the most incredible moments was the helicopter ride, which allowed us to see the breathtaking beauty of Guatapé and its lakes from above. The tour through the town itself was colorful, vibrant, and full of meaning. What really makes the experience special is how Julian makes you feel completely at home, not just like a visitor exploring a new place. Yes the experience is extremely beautiful and so much fun. Surprisingly the best part of it all was making friends with our Tour Guide Fabiàn. Not only was he informative but he made the trip the best experience it could possibly be buy tailoring it to what we wanted to do. If you plan on doing this excursion make sure to request Fabiàn. He made the experience even more special when he found out it was my sister’s birthday. I honestly wouldn’t have this experience go any other way without Fabiàn!
