I would thoroughly recommend this cruise ship tour to anyone wanting to visit the lovely city of Gdansk. We were met at the ship as per instructions and promptly assigned to a bus. We travelled to Gdansk where we were treated to a moving 20 minute organ recital at the beautiful Oliwa Cathedral. From here we travelled to the historic city centre where we were given a lot of information re the city’s development over time. As this is an amber producing area, there were many stalls in the area. Cathedrals in this area are amazing. Our tour concluded with a visit to the Solidarity Center and rooftop views of the city. Both the guide and the bus were great. We were delivered promptly to the ship as per the information provided.

My husband and I had a shore excursion to Gdansk. Poland. Our meeting venue was clearly stated and we were allocated to a bus. Our tour commenced with a beautiful organ rendition for 20 minutes at Oliwa Cathedral. Very emotive. This was followed by a walk through the central area with a very informative talk from our guide. The central plaza is a beautiful area and the focus for amber stalls. We also visited the Solidarity building and heard the history of this movement. The guide was great and the bus comfortable. I would recommend this tour.

The organ concert at Oliwa Cathedral was fabulous. Gdank is a beautiful city and our guide, Beata, did an excellent job leading us through the city center. She expertly described the architecture, history, churches, bridges and presence of amber.

Pick up was at the port, advertised that there will be someone with a sign. the guide was not there with a sign, we walked the outside of the pier with hundreds of taxi's. He wasn't found for about 20 minutes. However the quality of the bus was a 5 star. Great driver. Guide was informative, no complaints. Excursion all in all was great.

Absolutely fabulous for our adult family. We saw a lot and learned a lot. It was really fun.

Michael was an exceptional guide who provided us with personalized attention and made us feel very welcome. His knowledge of history and culture was outstanding and incredibly interesting. Our walking tour showed us many sides of Gdansk. The short organ concert at Oliwa Cathedral is not to be missed. I highly recommend this tour.

Comprehensive tour. A good bit of walking. No listening devices were used, which was a drawback. Would have been better if we'd had a chance to spend some time in Sopot.
