東富士を通り越して伏見稲荷大社へ

山頂からお城を眺める 伏見稲荷の頂上から息を呑むような眺めを楽しんだ後は 秀吉が築城し家康が再建した城で、伏見城の再建後、元禄年間までに桃の木が植えられ、一帯は桃山と呼ばれるようになり、やがて伏見城は桃山城、伏見桃山城と呼ばれるようになった。

We hiked up hidden paths to get to the top of Fushimi Inari. There were hardly any people there and we could enjoy the beautiful nature and shrines. Josh was a fantastic guide! His explanations were great and he pointed out a lot of interesting details. We recommend this tour very much and would totally do it again.
Our tour guide, Ai, was very generous in her approach to the tour, adapting it to suit the interests of the small group and in answering our many questions about Japanese culture. The tour was a great length and approaching the shrine from a less well known path was wondering for being able to appreciate the shrine without the crowds. Highly recommended!

Was guided by Matt and Hiro through the forest and up the mountain. They were both extremely friendly, attentive, and dedicated. I can only recommend this tour, as you learn a lot about the culture and encounter few other tourists at the beginning.
