The tour was amazing! First off I would like to thank our Tour Guide Obed for being so wonderful and knowledgeable of the Masai people and their culture. On top of being knowledgeable, his photography skills are excellent and he made sure we got some amazing pictures and videos. On top of him being wondering, the Masai people were so hospitable and sweet. I really felt at home as they explained their way of living and their culture. From the men, the women, and the babies. Everyone was so nice to me, my mom, and friend. Thank you so much! If you’re coming to Nairobi, make sure you book this tour 🇰🇪

The pick up was on time and professional, the ride was comfortable and the guide discussed some amazing history and answer my MANY question, and the tribe was very welcoming. Tim was very knowledgeable about the history and what happens today. The tribe was so kind and their passion for showing us their culture was very apparent but not agressive. Words cannot express this experience. The ride home was comfortable and a nice wind down from an exciting experience. I would do this again!!!!

We had an amazing experience with Tim. From the moment we booked, the team was communicative about what we needed and what to expect. They were extremely flexible and thorough. Tim was a fabulous guide who showed great respect for the Masai people and helped make sure we did the same. He clearly has a wonderful relationship with the community, which helped us feel comfortable as they welcomed us into their community and home. Once there, they made us feel part of the family and took the time to demonstrate their many activities and even made small gifts for us and encouraged us to be part of one of their celebrations. It was an amazing experience you won’t regret.

Visiting the Maasai Village was one of the most memorable cultural experiences of our trip to Kenya. It was an incredible opportunity to learn about the Maasai people’s traditions, way of life, and history directly from members of the community. The experience was interactive from beginning to end. One of the highlights was learning how to throw a spear—it was so much fun for our entire family! We also watched a live demonstration of how they start a fire from scratch using only natural materials and traditional techniques. It was fascinating to see a skill that has been passed down through generations. We appreciated how welcoming everyone was and how willing they were to answer questions and share their customs and traditions. Being able to step inside the village and learn firsthand about their daily lives made this much more than just a sightseeing stop—it was an opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation for a culture that has preserved its traditions for centuries.

It’s a bit of a drive from Nairobi (90 minutes plus), but very much worth it. Mwose was an excellent guide and the experience was as authentic as you can get. You get to experience Masai culture hands-on, and the people are very kind & welcoming. Bring a few extra shillings to tip out generously, as only 50% of proceeds from the tour go towards the actual village. A must do if you’re in Nairobi.

Masai village experience was on the top of my list when I went to kenya. Tim picked us up from our hotel. He was very knowledgeable on masai culture, went on a great details about it. It was fascinating to the masai culture and way of life. I highly recommend this activity to anyone.

We feel lucky to have found this tour! Tim was easy to communicate with for pick up times and let us know what to expect for this tour. He was very knowledgeable. Transportation to the village was comfortable. The Masai Village we visited was authentic, we learned so much. There was no bombarding for having you buy artwork from them. Please extend our appreciation to the families who shared their homes and culture with us. The men and women of the community were very welcoming and very nice.
