A great day. We were the only guests from Dublin so we essentially had a private tour. Our driver met us promptly and got us down to Waterford quickly and safely while pointing things out along the way. The vehicle as spotless and bottled water was provided. The Waterford factory tour was fantastic. The guide explains all of the steps and you have ample time to watch the craftsmen at each station from blowing to polishing. After lunch in Kilkenny on our own (Kyteler's Inn for excellent fish and chips), we meet up with Nevin Cody for our walk around Kilkenny. Nevin's tour was both entertaining and informative. I highly recommend the Luxury Tour of Waterford Crystal & Kilkenny City.

We just returned from an INCREDIBLE 8 day tour of Ireland! Our Driver and Guide, Peter Chambers, is a Gem! He truly made our trip special and memorable. He is very kind and has a great sense of humor. Peter is a very safe driver and we always felt safe even on some of the narrowest road we have ever been on. Peter is very laid back and he was always willing to adjust plans as needed. He was always on time and he had a knack for showing us places that he knew we would enjoy along our way to the day’s destination. We never had a worry Peter would drop us off, hand us our tickets, and say I will be waiting for you right here please take your time and enjoy. On our last day, Peter went way above and beyond by helping us find my grandmother’s home. We had very low expectations of finding it but Peter made it happen. This was our first trip to Ireland and we were hesitant about how to navigate and drive the narrow roads of Ireland. Once we talked with Shaun Rodgers of Irish Luxury Tours we knew this was the best way to see Ireland. Shaun and Eva put together an incredible custom itinerary and booked wonderful hotels and purchased tickets to the tours we discussed. The 3 hour walking tour of Dublin with Fiona was great. Fiona is very knowledgeable about Dublin and Irish history. She took us to many interesting places we never would have known about. We could not believe how quickly the 3 hours went. From the moment we arrived in Dublin our trip was seamless. Billy was waiting for us in baggage claim to take to our hotel. On the morning of our departure Frank drove us to Shannon for our flight home. Everywhere we went everyone was early and waiting for us we never had a worry. Dangerous driving. Driver was yawning, closing his eyes and swerving back & Fourth across the motorway. Smoked in van!

Kilkenny is A lovely city and Waterford is very interesting. Tour guide Gerry was very knowledgeable and has great Irish humor. We had a wonderful day. TY

Took a 2 week tour of the entire island of Ireland with a family group of 9. It couldn't have gone better! Irish Luxury Tours handled everything smoothly from start to finish. When I booked this tour I was afraid that it would be cancelled due to limited interest. I was pleasantly surprised when the company provided a tour for just my husband and me. Our guide/driver, Kieran, picked us up at our hotel. We had a very nice day with him as he kept up a lively conversation about the area we were passing through and Irish history and culture. He dropped us off at the Waterford factory allowing plenty of time for a very interesting tour and shopping in the beautiful gift shop. We then drove to Kilkenny where a local guide, Joe, gave us a great tour of the town and the museum of St. Mary’s. We felt very pampered. I certainly recommend this experience and have only the highest praise for Kieran “Doc”.

The tour guide and driver were very friendly and knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting. The Waterford tour was very interesting as we were shown the stpes from the beginmnming to the end of the process. The walking tour of Kilkenny was very informative, our walking guide had many stories to share with us. The only downside I experiencedf were some of the other people on the tour not being punctual with the retune times to the bus.

Very nice day trip to Waterford and Kilkenny. Both towns were unique. Kilkenny was so charming and still had a small village feel. All guides and drivers were sweet and kept us on time. Thank you

I booked this after a previous company had canceled our tour to the same places, but was nervous to book at first because I didn’t see any recent reviews. It was a great tour! My only critique is that there isn’t a specific meet up point listed - just “Nassau St.” The concierge at the hotel my family and I stayed at called the company to ask for a more specific location which ended up being Kilkenny Design on the street. With that being said, get there with time to spare, we left 2 minutes early even with one party missing. We had a black sprinter van which was comfortable, nice, and had AC. There was only 9 people on our tour so it was the perfect size and allowed us to not wait around a lot like we would’ve in a big tour group. We had plenty of time at both locations and enjoyed walking Kilkenny. You don’t get admission into the castle on this tour, so for that, I think the price might be kind of steep, but this was our only option to get those places since the other company canceled on us. Overall, I would recommend it and do it again! Our tour guide “Mick” (sp?) was great - super informative, friendly, and funny!
