Overall...way too high a price. Some fun things. But not worth the price.

Way over priced! I spent $45 a person to go here with a total of $135. We started with building our mini figure. Then, found out that the ride they have was out of commission which no informed us of. They had a small lego table in front of it to make up for it but it was so small only 3 kids could fit and it was very busy that day. We tried the VR ride. It probably is fun for some people but we didn't like it only due to it making us fell quesy (VR rollercoaster). The next room was a large lego build room that you got to see various large builds that had been done. It was pretty cool to look at. Then, we went to get some food at their little cafe. The menu does fully match what is online. They have coffee and some food. I don't know if it changes regularly. The dino nuggets I ate was not fully cooked. It also took around 30 to 45 minutes to get a burgers, a hot dogs, and about 8 dino nuggets with almost no one else eating. We then went to do the Lego Master build, which was fun. Leo was great! He explained everything well and had a great personality. Unfortunately, you don't get to keep the build. We went to the 4D theater and that was pretty awesome! We had never been to a 4D theater and we enjoyed. The employee at the front, though... I tried to ask her if it was still available because I thought the time was up to do it. The employee looked right at me, rolled their eyes, and preceded to ignore me. We only continued to do it because my child wanted to. The highlight was the play area. Something about pirates. We spent about an hour there. Most kids were well behaved. But some kids were being very reckless and running at full speed almost knocking down small children. Parents should be responsible for this but you would think the employees would actually full the rules that are posted and talk to the parents. This seemed to be reckless and possibly dangerous for the smaller kids at times. Also, the description online makes the Ninjago event way better and more interactive than it really is. Another parent that I spoke to also agreed with this.

Perfect quick stop for toddlers

Great spot for a quick outing with little kids. Easy to do before or after lunch in the city. Highlights • Build your own LEGO minifigure at the entrance (kids loved it, but you don’t take it home) • Mini city made entirely of LEGOs was a big hit • Play areas for building and a racing zone where kids can make cars and send them down ramps • Indoor playground in the back to burn energy • Party rooms available • Cute photo ops throughout The store at the end is fun to walk through. They had a lot of awesome sets, but my 3 year old would definitely try to eat the pieces. Things to bring (especially with toddlers): • Small backpack to stay hands-free — I had jackets and cups in my hands and had to drop them when she needed help • Comfortable clothes you can move in • Water and snacks — food options are basic • Wipes or sanitizer I saved what I’d bring for this kind of outing on my profile.

LEGO Discovery Center

The LEGO Discovery Center was a great, kid friendly experience. Our favorite parts were the Duplo playground, the minifigure creation area, and the Jungle Jump car building station, where we had a blast racing cars down the ramps. It was a fun day for our family.

Really disappointed

My kids are avid LEGO fans, and we had been looking forward to going to the LEGO Discovery Center for a while. The disappointment started when we arrived. The mini build is just a random package of LEGO that you could buy anywhere- it’s not something you actually build on site, and you don’t get to choose which packet you get to take home. You get to make a minifigure to carry through the experience, but you have to return it at the end after keeping up with it the whole way through. The zappers on our cart on the Kingdom Quest ride didn’t all work, and it wasn’t very fun. The LEGO skyline of Atlanta was impressive. At least half of the consoles on the space ship activity were out of order. It was fun to build vehicles and send them down ramps. We didn’t go to the theater because we had another place to be afterward and didn’t need to get wet in the 4d experience. Overall, I spent $140 and I feel a bit duped. We would have had more fun staying home and building with our own LEGO.

Love Legos, yes. Not, skip

Great space for kids and adults who love legos! This is fun for Lego lovers, but if you don't care for Legos definitely skip.

Little disappointed

Ease of parking was nice. Several of the interactive boards were not working. That was disappointing. Bought was stated on ticket purchase as digital access pictures. Now when looking at them, I have to purchase the pictures. I have access to view but not to print or download. Pricey and little disappointed. The young man Noah who gave private time and allowed lessons was great!

Don’t waste your money

This was the most overpriced and disappointing experience I have had. I love Legos, but I do not love a small, crowded and confused space with limited activities and very few Lego models to view. Take your very young children here if you want them to have access to a Lego themed playground, but do not expect anything more than a jungle gym, some mixed piles of Legos, and a few poorly executed games. There were several closed off displays/exhibits like the movie theater when my family went. The gift shop was the best part of this place to me (maybe because it was close to the exit which took about 45 minutes to reach), but I did not buy anything there because there were no price tags on any items.

The Worse Day Ever

I want to first start and say that im not pleased at all with Legoland nor Groupon! Where to start first i arrived with my son my autistic gran daughter and disabled husband to have a day planned for my son who was sick around Christmas This day was to be special for him. That changed after driving two hours to get there i cut my foot on the way to the door i asked the lady for a band aid and she was like they have to get a mgr to do that. Then i paid on Groupon for our tickets my son and mine the others i bought on the Legoland website the night before. I purchased the tickets on 2/25 for my son. The front desk older lady was very sarcastic from the time we arrived with the band aid situation now the tickets. We cant used the paperwork you have need the barcode and gave the fake as smile so i stood there looking for a barcode that i didnt know i needed. I couldnt get to it so i had to buy new tickets at the counter because i schedule the 3:30 time frame to give us time to get there and here it is almost 3pm. I was told i could get with Groupon but doubt i get my money back same lady being sarcastic. I went ahead and bought the tickets because my son really wanted to go inside he is 6 years old. We went inside and the guy with the cheap white table with the legos was telling my son to build a lego piece but then says dont lean on the table sir the table is cheap why dont you have a better table for kids hee then tells my son dont use to many of the pieces at one time! ( what) my son got sad and walked away he is huge lego fan but i calmed him down the man told me to do a google review! ( SMH) my son runs over to this play arear where there look like a slip area so him and my grand daughter went over to the area to play only for an emplotee to say no you cant do that either. At this point what can they do? I called my husband he was near the door up front his leg was bothering him he is handicapped and wanted something to eat and drink so he didnt know there was a food area inside instead of the sarcastic woman explaining that when you walk out you cant come back and that they serve food. She told him you cant come back now. he was only inside for 10 mins near the front. he said well ill go get alcohol then and sit out here. I explained to the lady he didnt know and nor did we see a sign or no one told us of that. At this point call the mgr i want a a refund this was not fun for my kid nor us. The mgr came tried to help me get Groupon on the phone and i couldnt get a refund for that ticket i bought it was too late according to them and lego land wouldn't scan the Groupon ticket and just refund me for the ones i purchased at the door. He comp my husband ticket but as i was talking to him the sarcastic lady came back again interrupting our conversation to stated that she told my husband he could not come back in. Lady we are not talking to you and we are good thank you. Not knowing she went outside told my husband i dont care she talking to mgmt and i dont care how long yall where here if you walk out your out! The mgr gave us a discount on the store for my son. My son also went to the play area to play and was told he couldnt have his shoes off with his socks didnt see that sign either. he never got to do the movie and anything else as i was busy trying to get my family together all in one place so for 30 minsI nor my son got to enjoy legoland. I had an autistic grandbaby nor verbal i had to watch on top of all of this which is why i needed my husband to be there to help walk with the kids, We left right out people that were other parents were mad for me and apologized it was not a good experience and the extra money i had brought i had to purchase tickets for him and me which was for his lego toys he wanted. So thanks Legoland and Groupon for f-ing my son experience up. He cried in the car because he really wanted his mom to play and his dad to be there to see him do the fun stuff. To Leon the Gm and the young lady who called him for me thank you for trying to fix some of the situation and the nice person Lee in the toy room who apologized to me and tried to help me get a toy for my son with the money i had left. I think mgmt. needs to be able to approve certain things and to the sarcastic lady at the from with the braids your customer service is bull. When people come here explain how the place operates should not be in a mall with a whole food court it should be optional if you want to get food right at the door of the place or inside that looked dead in the food area people were leaving just to eat.
