Super big swell and surf while we were on Maui, so snorkeling was tricky! They took us to the very end of Lanai, and we saw so many fish. It was a way better snorkeling adventure than Molokini Crater and Turtle Town. It was beautiful. They took a bad visibility situation and made it work. Staff was phenomenal!!

The experience was great. Every staff member on the boat was great. We didn't end up going to Lanai due to south swells in Lanai and mirky water snorkeling experience in prior days. The food onboard was awesome, and they kept the drinks flowing. The snorkeling was great. They provided the equipment and the guidance. I would highly recommend and look forward to a sunset cruise in the future.

Being out on a sailboat on a beautiful day in Maui is probably the single best thing you can do on the island. It was easily the favorite activity/event for everyone in my family. Having the opportunity to relax in the sun on deck, swim and snorkel… that’s what a coastal or island trip is supposed to be about. Captain Chloe and mates, Jess, and Jen gave us a great ride, and took us to a great snorkeling location, and then they fed us. There were a lot of large catamarans on the water the day we went. Most of these had twenty or more guests, on deck. The Sail Maui boat while still large was a little smaller, and we had only the five with my family plus another couple. While we still had lots of space on the boat, we all felt very well taken care of. Nothing is cheap or inexpensive on Hawaii, but the price we paid seemed very reasonable for experience. We did the morning 10 – 2 trip. They gave breakfast and lunch, which we were unaware was part of the package until we were on the boat, and after sailing a little bit, moored near a collapsed pier that has become a thriving reef. Lots of sea turtles, parrot fish, angel fish, a few very small reef sharks, and even though the spot is very popular with scuba divers and snorkelers alike there was lots of space. Fins, snorkels and masks were provided, but you do need to bring your own towels. We liked it so much my wife and I tried to do it again the next day, but unfortunately they were booked up and also do not do same day bookings. Highly recommended.

Great 1/2 day charter. Ollie had all of the fun facts, Brice was our safety lifeguard and swim gear guru, and James made a nice cocktail. Captain held down the ship. Smooth sailing out, and adventurous ride back. Highly recommend this clean well run boat.

This trip was amazing, peaceful, and far exceeded our expectations. The weather made the journey to and from Lānaʻi especially enjoyable. The boat was comfortable, the crew made the entire experience exceptional, and the captain knew exactly where to take us for an incredible snorkeling adventure. (I’d give each of them a personal shout-out, but my memory is mush!) Every day on the water is different, but our experience was nō ka ʻoi—the very best. Highly recommend!

This was our first time ever going snorkeling and the crew were all amazing. They were easy to talk to and would make sure you had everything you needed at all times. The boat ride was so peaceful. We got to see spinner dolphins on the way over to Lanai. When we got to our snorkeling place the water was beautiful. There were fish and turtles and even a reef shark. Would highly recommend going on this trip.

It was a wonderful boat ride and the staff was very attentive. The food was exceptional! However, the captain’s family was on the boat and it felt like we were in the way of their personal time together.
