We had a wonderful time out on the water with Captain Chase, AJ, and Ollie. They were a very experienced, friendly, and fun crew. The breakfast was simple but yummy and the lunch was fantastic. Would definitely recommend, one of the highlights of our trip.
We were referred by a friend who takes her family on Trilogy every year. So glad we went with her recommendation. The crew was great and very friendly. Very nice catamaran with plenty of seating and shade on board. We had our own snorkeling gear but they had plenty on board for everyone. The snorkeling experience by Lanai was beautiful. Very grateful that the Trilogy crew facilitated such a memorable experience.

We set sail on the Alihilani on a beautiful morning! The staff greeted us with a yummy continental breakfast. After reaching our snorkeling destination, we were given our equipment and important information we needed for a safe experience. A staff member came out into the water and kept a “lookout” while sitting on a surfboard. This gave us a good feeling of security. What fantastic colorful fish we saw among the beautiful coral and blue sand! After snorkeling we were treated to a delicious lunch of chicken, fried rice and vegetables! Yum! The open bar was a fun perk too!! Captain Kevin and his crew gave my husband and I a wonderful day!

It was the BEST!! Our daughter in law had never been here before and the snorkel trip was the best part of the trip actually for all of us. my husband and I have been on many but this boat was so easy to get in and out of the ocean. captain Kevin, Dustin, and Jess were awesome!! So helpful!’ the boat was soooo clean, the food was delicious! Bloody Mary’s excellent!’ the whole experience was over the top!! We will recommend them and go again next year!’

Excellent arrangements. Very nice, large, and clean boat. I was pleased that they were able to actually sail some of the way on the return. That’s sort of rare in my experience with these trips on Maui.

Loved all of it! 1st time snorkeling and they picked a perfect spot. Crew were fun and engaging, food was good and weather was perfect! Enjoyed lounging in the net on the front of the catamaran on our way back to shore. We want to go again. Shaun and Laura

My husband and I enjoyed the experience. Just being on the boat was an amazing feeling! The crew was very nice and helpful making sure everyone was safe and feeling good. Food was great. I would recommend to sail with this company.

Outstanding from start to finish. Sailing to Lanai was beautiful and fun. As we travelled around Lanai to our snorkeling spot, Captain Chase took us into a whole bunch of Spinner Dolphins. They raced around the bow of the catamaran and leaped out of the water in a spectacular show. Snorkeling was fun and food throughout the day was delicious……..yum ! So good ! Captain Chase, Ollie, and Bryce were always checking in on us making sure our glass or plate was full and asking if there was anything else we needed !! This tour supports Lahaina’s return to being an active port and the crew is very supportive and appreciative of being able to be a part of this return.

We saw an entire family of dolphins which was unexpected and super cool! The staff at Sail Maui was friendly and knowledgeable - the captain was funny, if you enjoy a dry sense of humor and no nonsense captaining you'll love him. The water was a bit choppy because we visited while Hurricane Fausto was doing its thing so if you have motion sickness, take Dramamine. The breakfast spread was great, fresh pineapple, oranges, croissants, and gluten free banana muffins. Lunch was delicious and my family said the chicken and rice was well above what they expected being in the middle of the ocean. At the end of the tour, they put the chocolate chip cookies in the sun to warm them up - a touch of hospitality I don't think anyone was expecting - my girls thought they were just pulled from the oven. We were a little disappointed with snorkeling, so much time was spent getting near Lanai to only spend an hour in the water with no other stops around the island wasn't what we were hoping for - not sure if this is the normal pace/number of stops or if the hurricane impacted the ability to stop other places but it was less about snorkeling and more about sailing. We've done other tours that focused on time in the water and not as much time going to the location, that are better for snorkeling. The ratings are given based on the overall luxury experience, food & beverage, and staff and I'd recommend this as an excellent tour for those traveling with groups of friends or as a couple.
