Farmers market tour was amazing!!! Daniele our guide was local to como- so he knew eveything and EVERYONE!!!!!! We ran into his mom and many friends on the tour. He took us to the most amazing and authentic places and taught us so much about the history of como. We ate the most amazing food and drank incredible wine. We loved it!!

Daniele, was absolutely amazing. We toured eateries that only the locals know. A great slow walk around the market and town. Perfect.

Outstanding! Our family group of 14 booked the "Walking Tour of Como" with Slow Lake Como. They accomodated our group size and time needs perfectly. The local experience and contacts that Daniello, Fabia and Frederico have at the marketplace and in the local cafes and shops added a whole layer of information as well as wonderful cappuccino, pastries, wine and appertivos. This is not a "cookie cutter" tour. If you want a wonderful insiders tour of Como along with whatever history information you want to know about Como and the lake...book this tour with Slow Lake Como!

My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much. Fabia was a great guide and shared a lot of history of the Como area while we walked and enjoyed multiple stops. Have a light breakfast before the tour because there is more than enough food. We finished the tour quite satisfied. Special note, I am vegetarian and I was very happy with the options available. We would definitely recommend this!

Wonderful tour. Daniel our tour guide was engaging, knowledgeable, and spirited. In addition to being exposed to local foods and wine, we were treated to the history of Como and the lake. We were a small group of 4 which allowed personal attention. Highly recommend and would say it’s good value for money.

Fabia was our tour guide and she was wonderful! The whole city tour plus food tour concept was fun and pretty relaxing considering it was a tour. I would highly recommend!!

We spent a great morning in Como exploring the market, the town and... its local flavours! First, we had a good espresso with a pastry. Then we visited the market with our guide who told us the stories of the local producers and described the products available. We also had a tasting of different local cheese at a market stall and it was just awesome. I don't think I would have ever discovered it by myself. Then we continued to a small restaurant where we had a glass of excellent wine paired to some cold cuts. And then the happy ending... a good gelato!

We spent a great time together, tasting some local food with a very good company. Daniele is an excellent guide and a good storyteller with a lot of knowledge about the town and the food. All the hosts we met along the way were welcoming and expert about food and wine. We felt like locals. Thank you guys!
