We had a lovely walking tour with Olge. She was very knowledgeable and proud of the various sights in Taormina, and took us to some places we would have never discovered on our own. The tour of the Greek theater was particularly interesting and the view from there was spectacular.

Our tour guide, Alfredo, was a complete delight! He has a personal knowledge and history of Sicily, and the passion for the topic comes through his engaging presentation and stories of the region. It is a beautiful Greek Theatre that is worth especially for its beautiful viewpoint. But it is very expensive for what it is and at the entrance the staff was very unpleasant. We wanted to rent audio guides. They asked us to leave an ID card but it had stayed at the hotel so they refused to rent us the audio guides when I said I could leave my credit card as security they sent me walking very unpleasantly and did not even give me the paper map of the site. Experience really not great. The ancient site of Syracuse is much more beautiful, larger and worth a visit than this small theater. Even if it is very beautiful

What a great tour! So much info about the taormina and the theater packed in a quick 2 hours. Our guide was amazing and even recommended some restaurants which were outstanding. Would highly recommend as a way to orient yourself in the city and quickly learn the history of the area
