Took the ferry to Waiheke Island from Auckland. I purchased my ticket at the dock and was advised that as I wasn't sure what time I was returning to get an open return rather than the off peak. The journey each way was fine, other than the other passengers. On the way out I had to listen to some inane chat from some gen z girls as well as them taking millions of photos and videos. On the way back it was men in their mid-50s who were drunk and a bit gross in terms of their conversation. For a one off it wasn't bad value but can't imagine having to do the trip regularly.

Very poor experience on the last ferry from Waiheke to Devonport. The last Devonport direct ferry filled up and left so many passengers stranded, including families with young children during school holidays— with no communication from staff. When we finally asked about the next ferry staff were unhelpful and very unfriendly and couldn’t tell us what was happening. No updates, no assistance, and no backup plan. The next ferry only went to Auckland, so we missed our dinner and then had to pay AGAIN to get from Auckland to Devonport. Really disappointing service and lack of basic customer care.

We had a great time in the ferry!! We were greeted with orange juice and white wine. We also had the whole top of the ferry to ourself! Great for 💃🏽

Very reliable. We bought tickets in advance. Eventually we could not on the scheduled day and went a few days later. No problem at all. The return to Waiheke went without any problem. Room enough to sit on deck and have enjoyed.

You really can’t beat a ferry ride where the staff greets you and welcomes you on board by offering a free glass of Proseccos or Orange Juice for your 9 AM journey! A very pleasant experience.

We visited three Beautiful Lovely Wineries with wine tastings at each. We also stopped to have lunch at a fourth winery with no tastings and the lunch was very tasty! The views of the wineries were absolutely spectacular!

Staff was very friendly. A couple of them came up to each passenger and introduced themselves and asked if they needed anything during the trip to reach out to them.

Wonderful ambassadors welcome you from the queue to on board. Very personable, professional and friendly.

easy trip to Waiheke. Very comfortable with food and drink on board. You can buy your ticket and you dont have to stick to your time. Which was great, as you could make last-minute changes. Takes around 40mins. We got there 20mins before departure and it was fine.
