Fantastic trip, Stromboli at night is a must and we had a bonus of dolphins as wel. Panarea was very pretty worth seeing and having a drink at the harbour and walking up to the church. Longer at Stromboli you can have late lunch early dinner plus a swim and a beer at the top of the village at the church square. Highlight was the cruise around Stromboli with sunset and eruption.

This is a very long day adventure and large group trip. You are in a bus for a little over an hour on the way there and then a very long ferry boat ride. The ferry is carrying a lot of people and there are two bathrooms. There isn’t much to do on Panarea or Stromboli. There are a few restaurants on each island and that’s about it. There are not many places to walk or explore. The beaches are very rocky and if you do swim wear water shoes. Beaches on both islands are limited and the sand is very rocky. No place to rent chairs or towels. Also, there aren’t many places to change into dry clothes. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather, but if the weather is not perfect this trip could have had a different ending. The ferry’s top level does not have a covering so bring sunscreen you will need it and a sweatshirt or jacket for the ride back as it was very cool at night. The ferry should enforce a no vaping policy as many people were vaping and it was not courteous to other passengers. There is a lot of crowding and pushing when getting back on the ferry from each stop to get the best seats, so be prepared. We did get to see the volcano eruption several times and the sunset was beautiful.

Very long bus and boat trip. Most of the trip was spent in either the bus or the boat. Tge boat makes an absolutely crazy amount of noise, you can't talk or hear anything else

This was a very long day, but it was absolutely worth it for the experience of watching the sunset beside the volcano and seeing Stromboli’s small eruptions in the evening. Both Stromboli and Panarea were beautiful, and we really enjoyed exploring the islands. Our guide, Franco, was wonderful—so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He even walked us to restaurants he recommended, which had incredible views and were a wonderful place to stop and enjoy the scenery. One tip: **wear comfortable walking shoes!** Any exploring you do on the islands involves quite a bit of uphill walking. Overall, this was a memorable experience and definitely one of the highlights of our Sicily trip.

There was no mention of the length of the trip- it was over 12 hours. The embarkation processs at Stromboli was challenging - and stressful.

We were picked up near to our hotel and driven to the port of Milazzo where we embarked on to the boat. It was all a bit chaotic but we chose seats on the second deck (having read reviews about getting wet on the top deck). The boat was very crowded, so crowded that some unfortuante people were sent up to the top deck. Then the storm came with large waves and torrential rain, people being sick, falling over and getting soaking wet. A lady in the queue for the toilet told me she was soaked right through to her knickers! Luckily the wether cleared and by the time we reached Panatera the sun was shining. We had time for a walk around and an ice cream then we were off to Stromboli. Because of the weather conditions it had taken longer to get there so we had less time at each stop and there wasn't really time to both eat and walk around stromboli Back on the boat we sailed around the island as it started to get dark and were lucky enough to see some small explosions just beneath the cloud cover The trip back seemed long but, luckily it was not as rough as before. Some people were sick. The toilets on board were dreadful - from start to finish - with no toilet seats, paper, water and occasionally covered in vomit! The coffee etc was nice

Trip is a long day but well worth it. The Aeolian Islands are stunning and the sunset at Stromboli with the opportunity to see the volcano erupting worth the trip alone. Take your swimming costumes as there is more than enough time on both Panarea and Stromboli to enjoy the beach. I didn’t take mine and regretted it

It is a large tour and the boat is very noisy and crowded. The islands are beautiful. But Stromboli volcano isn’t as exciting as depicted in the advertising material.
