We saw a lot of Gozo but the itinerary never mentioned about stopping to swim so we forgot our bathing suits. I know it was in the booking but I only looked at the itinerary. Also when in the jeep my husband and I were in the back seat and could not hear anything the driver was saying. Lastly, the pickup time should not be the last minute I missed another one of your tours because it was texted the day before the tour and we were traveling that day.
This was my least favorite day in Malta. While I don't like to leave negative reviews on that effect people's livelihoods, honestly, I wish we had skipped this tour. It was a very rushed hectic day. I would rather have skipped a few stops and lingered longer at other places like the citadel or ruins with some information actually provided. I understand the company wants to show visitors the entire island but it's just not realistic. Felt like we were in a Mario cart race with other drivers to see who could get to the next stop the fastest. We stayed in Sliema and while we appreciated the pick up, it's 45 minutes to and from the boat launch even though there is a new Gorzo ferry located in Sliema. Lunch was fine. The vehicles aren't the Jeeps portrayed in the company's photos. Vehicles are open on the sides but not the tops and are extremely loud which I'm sure the residents of Gorzo really appreciate (sarcasm). People in the backseat can't hear the driver. Very limited information on the stops was provided. Basically, get out and get back to the vehicle in 10-15 minutes, etc. Thankfully our vehicle had 4 guests in our tour. 2 guests in the front with the driver and 2 in the back. 5 people would have been very uncomfortable in my opinion. Middle seat in the back gets extremely hot from the engine. I wouldn't even leave my backpack on that seat for fear of burning. Sitting there all day would be a nightmare. Boats are very basic boats. One short swim stop near Blue Lagoon but not in the very blue water. Very happy we did a catamaran tour earlier in the week with a different company so we were able to experience that area. Company should put a cooler of ice water in the car for their guests because of the quick stops, stopping for water takes up precious time when you only have 10 minutes. Overall I basically learned nothing about the island and was not impressed.
We had the most awesome experience with our driver Ian. My husband and I joined this trip with some young British tourists. Ian and the other driver took us around Gozo and gave us an incredible experience. Gave us tips and stories around the island and were so knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this day trip to everyone. We enjoyed our stop in Xlendi Bay so much that we came back for a sunset dinner the next night during the town’s festa and witnessed incredible fireworks.
Our driver, Ian, was great. Very knowledgeable., funny, and kept us engaged the whole day. It is a very long day in the heat, so be prepared for that.
We took the tour on 06/29/2026 as a pair and can recommend it without reservation. After booking, the organizer makes contact via GetYourGuide and provides very detailed information about the meeting point and pickup time. The description is really helpful. Small note: The email also contains external advertising links for bargain offers – these can simply be ignored. Furthermore, it is pointed out that the shuttle can be delayed by up to 15 minutes due to previous pickups. The pickup takes place in comfortable minibuses, as the tour already starts at 10:00 AM at the ferry port. Our shuttle did arrive about 15 minutes late, even though we were the first pickup station, and the driver then drove quite aggressively. However, that was actually the only point of criticism for us for the entire day. Afterward, you head to Gozo on a traditional sailing ship. There, you will be met by your guide. We had Alex from Vienna as our German-speaking guide – absolutely top-notch! Friendly, funny, incredibly likable, and with a wealth of background knowledge. Anyone booking the tour in German should definitely ask for Alex. Important to know: The vehicles on-site are UTVs (for up to five people) and not Jeeps as sometimes seen in the pictures. They are a bit loud, but airy. The route leads mostly off the main roads to the most beautiful sights of Gozo. We especially liked that the tour could be partially adapted flexibly to personal interests in consultation with the group. During the drive, you also learn a lot about the island and the life of the locals. Around 1:00 PM, there is a buffet lunch at an Italian restaurant where all groups come together. Afterward, the tour continues before heading back to the harbor around 4:00–4:30 PM. From there, the boat departs for the Blue Lagoon. Our tip: It is best to wear your swimsuit under your clothes, as changing on-site can get a bit hectic. The swimming stop was one of the highlights for us – simply jump from the boat into the crystal-clear water and enjoy the dreamlike scenery. For the tour, we recommend comfortable, airy clothing, sun protection, and sturdy, comfortable shoes. You do not have to walk much. A backpack with a towel, swimwear, and some cash for drinks or small purchases is also useful. Overall, an excellently organized day trip with an unbeatable price-performance ratio, many impressive impressions, and a great guide. For us, clearly 5 stars!
Magnificent experience from start to finish we we collected on time from our hotel to the boat in which our driver George was waiting for us at Gozo and he talked about the history behind Gozo and informed us about the different stops and places we would visit the meal was very nice and welcoming on the way home we were on the speedboat which was excellent and they stopped for a swim break our driver was waiting for us when we got back to bring us to our hotel all in all it was a great experience
We saw the entire island but descriptions were sparse . We did not understand our driver’s sense of humor
Pickup at hotel went seemlessly. Boat transfer and jeep meet up was easy. Lunch was good. As always with tours, not enough time at some of the sights. Would be helpful for the driver to wear a mini microphone as it was hard to hear in the backseat.
This was such a wonderful trip and I had an amazing day! The day was long but went by fast! On arrival to the harbour we were immediately put on a boat to Gozo, no wait time at all and on arrival to Gozo our tour guides were there waiting for us with a list of names of the groups we were put into, we were put into groups of 5 and it was ideal. I was on my own so I got to meet some amazing people on this trip and this was only because we were put into such small groups we had this advantage. We covered the whole island and we also had some downtime to ourselves to shop in Victoria etc. We had an amazing tour guide, Terry, who made the day really fun. The lunch was also amazing and it was a buffet so you could go back for second helpings if you wanted. Overall I highly recommend this trip and it’s the best way to see the entire island of Gozo in one day!
We recommend this attraction, as it's an incredible adventure and a wealth of information about Gozo. We had a Polish guide and driver, whose knowledge and incredible personality captivated us, as did the incredible places we visited in Gozo.
