VERY interesting! Guide knew sooo much!!!! Well organized to the smallest details. Sooo glad we did this:)

We had a cooler day so that’s a must. The history plus current information on family visitors was fascinating. Our guide digressed a bit too much but I believe the visitors he gave bar and eating recommendations to appreciated it.

Will was amazing! Super knowledgeable guide, NOLA native. Get lots of water before you head in, it’s warmer than you think.

By interweaving her flawless knowledge of St. Louis Cemetery with her passionate, dignified, and witty eloquence, Mama Nita made my experience the most enjoyable and informative historical tour I've ever taken. The pride she takes in her work was undeniable and inspiring. The way she effortlessly plucks information from her memory and connects it with enriching details about the tombs and mausoleums surrounding us, as well as the dead they hold, gave her sentences an air of elegant poetry and made the people she described seem real, not just distant abstractions from some highschool textbook. Her defiant yet courteous no-nonsense leadership kept everyone in line -- for the benefit of everyone's positive experience in the group. I couldn't help but always be closest to the front to ensure optimal listening. Her devotion to history, especially social history, motivates me to learn much more than I already have about the intriguing lives of a vast diversity of people who make up a community or even a country, and her demeanor, underpinned by superb communication skills that illuminated a delightfully eerie journey through a stunning cemetery, motivates me to, like she has, reach the level of professor. Take the fan if it is summertime There is alot of information given but we had a great time. A must do.

It will be historical, VERY interesting and EXCEPTIONAL in every way. Our guide was knowledgeable, entertaining. It was FUN.

The groups are larger so it’s hard to hear the employee guiding the tour. Wish it would have been more personal.

We did this tour on a very hot day with Taylor as our guide. He gave a great tour, with lots of interesting information on how the burials worked. You will be happy if you get him as your guide. We were surprised to learn that burials still take place there. Of course, seeing the grave of Marie Laveau was a hi light. Very historical and well kept up, there is a gift shop on site with lots of nice souvenirs, also a cafe. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very worthwhile.
