We arranged for a shared car to take us from our hotel in the Ginza in Tokyo to Yokohama Harbour to board our cruise ship. The driver arrived on time. The car was big enough to accommodate our luggage, plus the luggage of the two other couples who were also travelling to Yokohama. As first time visitors to Japan, and being senior citizens, we both agreed that this was a worthwhile expense. It allowed us to see some of the countryside without having to deal with handling our luggage on public transit by ourselves. Definitely worth it.

Driver was friendly, accessible & capable. Vehicle was clean & comfortable. As instructed, we waited in out hotel lobby but he did not show. Hotel staff located him in his car in front of the hotel. We then drove 30-40 minutes out of our way to another hotel to pick up a couple who never showed (our driver had been given the wrong date).

The only good part of this experience was the actual ride to Yokohama. Otherwise, we did not receive any advance notifications as to anticipated pick up time. Called the morning of the pick up with booking & confirmation #s and office had problem finding our booking. Told to wait in hotel lobby, but at pick up time no one showed up. It turned out driver was waiting up front. Then found out from hotel staff that company had bad reputation.
