The trip went well. We were picked up on time at our hotel and dropped off at the port. They give you a lanyard whose color will determine which boat you take. Then, based on a picture they take of you before they leave you at the port, a representative in Nusa Penida will pick you up at the destination port. Our rep was a little late and we were concerned originally how this handoff would work. With a rep, we walked though some businesses to the boat people, signed the paperwork and hopped on the boat. There was no dock; you walk through the water (just a short way) to get on the boat. The snorkeling was much better than expected. We hit 4 locations and each one was better than the last. The reef was colorful and there were plenty of fish. After the snorkeling, the road trip began. The roads in Nusa Penida are not great, sometimes paved and full of potholes making the drives not particularly enjoyable (even though our driver did his best to avoid the potholes). Our driver's english was not great but we could generally communicate. He took us to lunch at a restaurant in the interior of the island. The 3 beaches he took us to were very beautiful and generally worth visiting although we did not walk all the way down to the beach. We made it back to the port in Nusa Penida around 4pm and ferries left very 20-30 minutes. We were then picked up by another driver in the Bali port and driven back to the hotel.

Had a really lovely day out with Putu as our guide. Everything is organised for you so you don’t need to think or plan anything, just follow the guide! The snorkling spots are really lovely and the coral is beautiful

Outstanding day . Well organised all drivers were on time and had good chat . Big shout to Putu Anadiana our driver and guide on island. Great driver on rough roads and a lot of traffic. Great chat and very funny . He made the day .
