サンタ・エレナ：シレテロスと花のツアー（専用送迎付き）

Save your money! Incredibly over priced. We received a brief 30 minute history of silleteros by a very friendly farmer and got to walk around a small farm house with flowers around it. That’s it. The story was interesting, but not $120 interesting. The drive was longer than the “tour.” The only thing good about this “tour” was our driver Daniel. He was excellent and very informative about the history of parts of Colombia and the surrounding areas to Santa Elena and Medellin. Go to Guatape or paragliding or literally anything else. I feel bad because the farmer was so nice, but this tour was a huge waste of time and money.

Luis Alberto Gómez was an incredible guide who made the whole morning so fun! From pick up, to the ride there, the tour of the flower farm, and the ride back, everything was organized and well planned. I had such a great time, and I hope I get to visit Santa Elena again very soon!!!

It was a very interesting tour. Daniel took us to flower farm that had been in the family for many generations. The owner of the family farm spoke excellent English which was an advantage. But, that’s not the reason for this review. The drive to Santa Elena and the drive back to our hotel each took about one hour. That two hours of talking with Daniel was a highlight of the trip. His English was excellent but most of all his stories about the local culture were very very interesting. If you’re going to go to Santa Elina see if Daniel Pineda can be your tour guide. Of course, he guides many other area tours too.

Thought i was going to see flower fields but learned about the special art of flower decorating that is unique to medellin. Driver was a little late and had to scramble at the last minute to find a home to visit but was good when all said and done

If you are Colombian or you are walking in the Antioquian region, passing through Santa Elena is mandatory, making the Silletera tour and knowing the culture and love that all people offer is incalculable, you will have fun , you will see a variety of incredible flowers and enjoy a really delicious gastronomy nearby.

The best experience you can live in Medellin and especially in the region of Santa Elena. The guidance of Yesenia and Andrea de Oasis tur is the best. The Silletera estate of the Londoño family is excellent. Here we saw the process of making the chairs, with passion, much love and art. It is 7th experience to be lived at least once in a lifetime

Mauricio was a great guide/companion for the day. We had good conversation and a side trip to get arepas and chorizo. It was a very nice day.

Luis was awesome!! He did a great job at translating Spanish to English as I went on the Santa Elena Silleteros tour with my wife and mother. We had a great time! We really enjoyed meeting Don Joaquin who was third generation of Silleteros and his wife. We liked learning about the Silleteros tradition, lifestyle, and history. Additionally, we enjoyed making a silleta and experienced wearing the traditional clothing and carrying the silleta. Luis provided us with a reliable vehicle that had AC which made comfortable ride from Medellin to Santa Elena where is was much cooler. I recommend taking a wind breaker or light jacket as the climate does change at higher elevation. Luis picked us up at my family’s house where we were staying a dropped us off near Comuna 13 were we wanted to walk around and shop. I highly recommend this tour with Luis he as fantastic and we had a great time with our guid Luis. Thank you for a wonderful tour and experience!! 👍🏼👍🏼
