Amazing day with our quality electric bike

We booked directly with Blazing Saddles - to include the charter ferry return option from Sausalito. Staff were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic on both sides of the Bay. Would highly recommend.

We had the best ride from start to finish with Blazing Saddles E-Bikes. From being greeted, trained, and set off on the right path at the shop, to the midway point guys in Sausalito, to the sea lions at Pier39, my family thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Blazing Saddles E-bike rentals. The bikes were in great shape, did the job getting up hills, and were comfortable for our soft bottoms. We had a blast with this booking and would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the city.

This bike rental shop was fantastic. I snagged an all day ebike rental and departed around 9 AM for Tiburon. The ride was super enjoyable on the bike and the electric assist made sure I arrived in time to get lunch at Sam's Anchor Cafe before catching the 1:15 PM ferry back to the city. It was a super easy ride back to the shop. I really appreciate the friendly staff helping make sure I had what I needed to go a bit further than most folks going up to Sausalito. I'll be back for another lap at some point :)

We had the best day riding over to Sausalito and back. The electric option made riding for everyone in our party doable. Mikey was super helpful and friendly as was the rest of the staff! The bikes were in great shape, fully charged and ready to take on the day. We'd definitely rent through Blazing Saddles again. The price was fair, comparable to other companies in the area.

A must-do while in San Francisco! The staff here is friendly and very informative. They will give you clear directions on how to navigate, and if you have the time, bonus stops. After biking the bridge we continued on into Sausalito (very doable with the e-bikes); a charming town with great food. From there we traded in the bikes for the ferry that took us right by Alcatraz. I recommend asking if you can return your bike to the pier location, which is what we did. Mikey Bikey made the drop off process seamless. Dropping them off there made it very easy to then explore Pier 39 and see the sea lions. To note - my wife and I did this while in port during our cruise trip.

Not a good experience, and I would not recommend this place. I rented an electric bike, and the instructions were given so quickly that there seemed to be little concern about whether I actually understood everything. During the rental, the bike’s power went down very quickly. When I returned the bike and explained the problem, the employee had an attitude and told me that I should have called them while I was out with the bike. However, during the instructions, no one ever told me that I could or should call them if I experienced a problem. When I pointed this out, I was told that it was in the contract, followed by the comment, “which I’m sure you didn’t read.” To make matters worse, I was then told in a taunting and unnecessarily rude tone to give back the helmet “before we charge you for it.” If contacting the shop during the rental is what customers are expected to do when there is a problem, that should be clearly explained when the bike is handed over—especially when the operating instructions are being given so quickly. The bike issue was disappointing, but the dismissive and condescending way my concern was handled made the experience much worse. I would not recommend them.

So I used a coupon via Big bus tour and paid extra to rent an electric bike for 2 hours instead of an hour free with the coupon. I wasn’t blown away. It was fine but the vibe was off maybe because I used a coupon. Idk but I wouldn’t use them again especially with so many other options. Fun experience riding across the Golden Gate Bridge though and no equipment issues other than slightly squeaky brakes.

Fantastic service. Bikes were in great condition and easy to use. Operation was explained clearly with a quick test ride before we left. A short video to explain road rules was available as non locals. Recommend e-bikes even if you’re fit to really enjoy the experience. We intended to drop the bikes and ferry back but rode back as we loved it so much.

Ebikes are the best! We explored the city with ease.
