This is an outstanding botanical experience in an absolutely tropical setting! This collection is not limited to native species- it is truly a global experience. The hosts and the orators were very knowledgeable of the grounds and the subject material. Highly recommend!!

This is the next thing closest to Heaven in my opinion! Starting off, the lush area where the Princeville Botanical Gardens are located is perfection! The rolling hills and the quiet surroundings is a perfect spot for such a place. Upon pulling on to the property, we were greeted by friendly staff. And then we were introduced to our amazing guide, Troy. His knowledge and humor kept all of us interested in each tree; each leaf; each berry; each plant; even each chicken! I highly recommend booking the tour with delicious treats or chocolate to taste and then purchase if we wanted. I promise you, I’ll book another tour if and when I ever make it back to Kauai!

Your guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We got to try different types of chocolate and unique fruits. The grounds were beautiful and it was an enjoyable experience.

We've visited plenty of botanical gardens and this was definitely the best. Our guide, Heidi describes herself as a "plant nerd". She could go to whatever level of detail we wanted about the plants and the history of the site. There were tasting of some of the fruit as we traversed this beautiful garden. The addition of a chocolate seminar and tasting was amazing and we left with an excellent understanding of both the process and history of chocolate cultivation and production. With the number of botanical gardens on the island, the friendliness and engagement of the entire team clearly stands out.

Beautiful garden, lots of colors and variety in both plants and terrain. Not too many people in our group, which is good. Our guide Heidi was very knowledgeable about not only the plants but their history of how they came to Hawaii, how they are used, etc. The chocolate tasting was good. They went over the process of harvesting cacao and making it into chocolate but if you want to actually see that process they don’t do that. Overall a very good morning - I’d do it again.

We had a fantastic garden tour experience! The gardens were absolutely beautiful, with a wonderful variety of plants, flowers, and thoughtfully designed spaces. Every area was unique and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. Our guide, Heidi, made the tour even more enjoyable. She was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and enthusiastic, sharing fascinating insights about the gardens while keeping the tour fun and engaging. Her warmth, energy, and love for what she does were evident throughout. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend this tour, especially if Heidi is your guide!

Excellent tour of the Princeville Botanical Gardens. The gardens are lush, exotic and beautiful. Rob was a fantastic guide, sharing his knowledge, humor, and wisdom with us. Highly recommended, and well worth the admission price.

Wow! I am an Idaho boy that loves the outdoors and have always wanted to experience Hawaii. We booked to Kauai and the botanical gardens in Princeville was the first thing to pop up when I was searching for a tropical experience. The tour, the vast amounts of plant life from ground cover to giant trees was absolutely stunning. We got to try mountain apples, cocoa beansstraight from the pod, an experimental fruit and even some chocolates from around the world, including one made on site! 15/10!

Fabulous experience! Highly recommend. The staff is exceptional in their knowledge and their people skills. The three hour experience flew by and I never looked at the time. The garden is gorgeous. Our guide, Troy, was exceptional! This is a definite must visit for anyone visiting Kauai.
