The Kusabuchi-kun-like guide was very kind. They took photos and shared them at various spots, and were resourceful in responding to sudden requests. The rowboat will keep you going for about two hours, passing through several caves without stopping. It was a thrill and a precious experience, as we dived past areas that could not be reached by passenger boat. Thank you, thank you, for keeping us rowing alone for 2 hours!

Despite the rain, we had a wonderful tour of Duong Lam Ancient Village. Our guide, Ken Quang, pointed out the many features of the ancient village and translated for us as needed throughout the tour. He was very pleasant and helpful.
