We booked a private Ninh Bình tour and asked for a special detour to Phát Diệm Cathedral. Not only did Chris make it happen, he brought the place to life with stories and history we'd never have discovered on our own. Seeing a Catholic cathedral built like a Vietnamese pagoda was a fantastic. Then came the 500 steps up Múa Cave to the Lying Dragon. Chris kept us motivated all the way up, and the view from the top made every step (and every gasp) worth it. Ninh Bình's karst mountains are even more stunning in person. Chris was professional, knowledgeable and genuinely kind. He answered every one of our many questions with patience and gave us fantastic recommendations. He even asked about food allergies. We told him we're allergic to bad food. He took this diagnosis very seriously and treated it with the best goat we have ever had. Condition fully managed! A huge thank-you to Chanh, our driver, who was extremely professional. Smooth, safe and always right on time, he made the long day feel easy. If you're visiting Ninh Bình, ask for Chris and Chanh. You'll leave with great memories, a full stomach and slightly sore legs. Highly recommended!

The tour was absolutely amazing, especially our tour guide Dave was so friendly and made sure we didn’t miss anything out. Everything was on time as well. Timing was perfect we even had a train to catch in the evening according to which Dave customised our tour.

We had a wonderful experience on the one-day group tour. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and very supportive throughout the trip. The places were well explained, and the guide made sure that everyone in the group was comfortable and on schedule. The coordination was excellent, and the guide handled the group very patiently and professionally. Overall, it was a well-organised, enjoyable, and memorable experience. The trip of a life time. Booking was seamless with Uyen whom made it super easy and got the right fit for us. Our tour guide Lucas was an absolute delight, sharing great knowledge and history. He also comes with amazing photography skills that captures those moments. Lucas is photographer goals. Really couldn’t have asked for more from this trip. The drivers across both days I would never want to play Mario kart against them they are far too skilled, I’d never have a win ever again, moving through traffic cool as a cucumber. Doing these day trips really allows you to see a side of Vietnam that you may not typically see, while also seeing some of the most breath taking wonders of the world.

Our guide Dang Hai (+84366725522) is a very friendly and likable young man who fulfilled all our wishes. The tour was well organized. Pick-up took place punctually at the hotel. In a good mood, our driver drove us safely to our destination in an air-conditioned van. On the way, Hai entertained us humorously. We learned a lot about life, traditions, the history of Vietnam, and culinary treasures that we will try to recreate at home. The tour was simply magical: 1. Stop - Mua Cave - we found the Lying Dragon at a dizzying height. Exhausting, but the view of the lotus flower field, the green rice paddies, and steep karst cliffs was worth it. Absolutely worth seeing! After the descent, Hai explained the benefits of the lotus flower and other medicinal herbs to us... 2. Stop - Lunch at a typical Vietnamese restaurant, where we could fill rice rolls ourselves as we pleased. Delicious 😋 3. Stop - boat tour in the dry La Long Bay near Tran An. A true natural phenomenon. For 3 h, we cruised through a lush green karst landscape in idyllic nature on a 5-seater boat. Truly impressive what nature has created. So it was also not surprising that this place was a film set for the 2016 movie King Kong. We had a fantastic day with many magical moments, also thanks to the good guidance of Hai, who took care of everything and remained courteous despite our many questions. We would take the tour with Hai again anytime. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♥️
