Max is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and the artistic legacy of Montmartre. The only hiccup was the meeting place. The instructions said Place Blanche which is a large and busy intersection. We had to message Max to find the exact spot in front of the entrance to the Metro.
Great experience. Especially for art lovers. Tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable and accommodating.
A really well guided tour with Max, he showed us places I would not have seen if I’d go to Monmatre by my own. It was funny and interesting and not boring at all! Would recommend it for sure.

A wonderful experience with our exceptional guide, Max. I was on a previous Montmarte tour a few years ago. On that trip we were taken to all the high volume touristy areas and it was not very memorable. On this tour, Max told us about his personal relationship with the area as an artist and former resident. He had a lot of insights and information I had not heard before. He was also very accommodating on checking our pace and energy and keeping us safe on the narrow streets and sidewalks. A five star guide. And the croissant was delicious 🤤
Max was very friendly and personable. His tour was an absolute delight. He was an expert on the artists and their work created in the very buildings we we were looking at. He filled us in on the history of Montmartre in a fun, interesting way. He knew the cabarets, the churches, the windmills as well. It was top notch.
Celine was great and pointed out some of the best patisseries, Boulangeries, and restaurants of Montmartre! Great way to see the highlights and hidden gems in a couple of hours!
