Excellent tour and informative and entertaining guide in Vas Blackwood. The walk was gentle but there was a fair bit of standing still while Vas gave the information, which as I am in my 60's I found tiring and harder as the tour progressed but still managed it all.
Was absolutely brilliant very knowledgeable guide and Vas was amazing made tour so enjoyable would definitely recommend
Vaz was brilliant. Just so funny and really knowledgeable. Learnt so much and very interesting. He was clear when he spoke and knew the area and locals well. The tour stated that it would last around 2 hours but ours was over 2hrs 30minutes. There was a big crowd of us but everyone kept up and it was a good friendly bunch. The price of the experience was well worth it and we highly recommend it. Absolutely brilliant. Loved it
'Uncle' Vas was a brilliant guide! Really gets in to character and is full of knowledge. Lots of little pockets of information that you would never know and it was fascinating. Really recommend this tour!
Perfect tour, place, guide, everything was great.
Great walking tour. We've seen the film but we learned so much more about the Krays and their lives through Vas. He was very engaging, knowledgeable and animated. He does use some 'colourful' language, but don't be offended by it, it's his way of bringing the stories to life. Highly recommended. (if you want to do the tour but can't walk very far, there is a coach tour too!)
Vaz was a very intense, knowledgeable guide but at times too much in your face. Language was colourful and too intense at times. The time spent outside the Blind Beggar pub was too long and more information could have been provided inside. Duration of the tour was over two and a half hours.
Cracking tour, learnt plenty through the wonderful tour guide Vas who told story's and was very animated. Would recommend to anyone who has an interest in old school gangsters
This was a fantastic tour, Vas Blackwood is a really nice guy - entertaining and very knowledgeable! I learned so much more then was portrayed in the popular films. Would highly recommend this!We had a great day!
