Gustavo, our tour guide, was awesome! Very knowledgeable as he was born and raised in Porto. The group of 8 was a perfect size and plenty of delicious food was included in the five stops. Very fun and highly recommend! Thank you, Gustavo!

Highlight of our trip! Our guide Teresa was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the history of Portugal. We visited several authentic food venues, a tavern, a bakery, a wine store. The food was delicious and so wasn’t the beer, wine and port. It was a small group of nine so we also met some wonderful people. Recommend!

Wow, what an experience. DJ was exceptional as a host. His passion for food and Porto was amazing. A great time was had by all on the tour. The food was also very good. Would highly recommend.

This was 3 hours packed with eating and drinking various traditional meals and local wines. Our first stop included a cod fish croquet, soup, dessert. And there were 3 more stops afterwards! All the food and wine selections were great. You will not go away hungry. There’s an option for a full meal but I don’t think you’ll be hungry after the first 2 hours.

The guide was informative, pleasant and provided a comfortably paced food and beverage tour. It was a very enjoyable experience.

We did the food tour on a Sunday. We later learned that not all venues are open so they said they were limited in where to take us. (If they know its subpar, why offer it??) Several groups started at the same time so instead of staggering the groups or choosing different venues, they switched the order of the meals. Our group followed this order 1. Digestive liquor 2. Dessert with coffee 3. Dinner (an awful sandwich, a cold bacalao fritter and a lukewarm soup in a rickety chair and table outside a casual dive) 4. Appetizer (charcuterie and porto) Obviously this is not the order in which food needs to be served especially considering the amount we paid to participate in this experience. I wouldn't recommend this tour. The quality of the food was not what we expected for the money paid. On a different note I registered 3 people and for days tried to cancel one. Even though I tried for days on the platform I was unsuccessful. I tried texts, emails and phone calls. I was ignored. I went in person a day ahead of the tour and they said they would talk to the platform people to get a refund and not to worry it would be refunded that same day. I never got the refund.. I will not be using TripAdvisor platform or the local Porto provider again.
