Alex, our guide was great. He shot us all over the city and explained everything to us. I love the part about history. He took us too many places to eat and even though some of us weren’t feeling well he made sure that we got food that we could eat and went to places where we could see the view. It was a lovely day.

Great tour with Alex! Highly recommend this for any tourist coming to town. We learned so much and tried things we wouldn’t have known to try.

Alex was a great tour guide! We got to see some great sites and try some great food, and some new exotic things. Great way to see the city

We had done a historic walking tour of the day before. Our guide on this food tour made no references to many of the sites. For example he did give a tip to the organ grinder but not let us know why the organ grinders were there. We did let the operator know beforehand that we did not eat meat. The first stop we had potato and bean tacos. The second stop was only meat tacos and we were not offered any substitutes. However we spoke to the waiter and he showed us a number of substitute meals that were suitable for vegetarians. Our tour guide said they were not tacos and did not offer them to us. He took the meals that we did not eat as take out. Our third stop was an exotic meat and insect place in the market. After all of that we were offered cheese This is an overpriced tour is not value for money. And we did not really learn anything from our guide.

My tour guide Antonio was very knowledgeable of the city, he gave me a tour all around the city and to locations I wanted to visit, we toured historical parts of the city and we had lunch at nice taco place. Ray

Bernardo was a great guide & I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. He was very patient in explaining everything & let us take our time to experience the food & the city without rushing us. It was a small group which was nice & Bernardo had to do double duty by guiding in both English & Spanish which he did very capably ... was fun & like a walking Spanish lesson too! The tacos were delicious & the insects 'interesting'! Exotic animals weren't mentioned in the description & I did NOT want to eat lion or tiger, farmed or otherwise! All in all a great tour, many thanks!

Knowing about the buildings of religious, governmental, and artistic natures. Going in and out of a few places and tasting the food. Being informed that the President of Mexico is living in that main building in the square where only foot traffic and markets are to be near his people! That meant a lot to him to me. I AM very pleased with how the tour guide informed me of so many things! He was professional yet down to earth where everybody enjoyed everything about the tour! Thank you! Ms JJ

We did not think that the tour guide was great. She was on her phone a lot. It was noisy on the street. The two taco places that we went were not great. We did not enjoy the final market place. The different foods were not our style at all

Unable to find that start of this tour so missed out on the experience. We used Uber to make our attempt to get to the tour and found out how big and confusing the old town is. We asked for a refund but were denied by the local tour compamy, Amigo Tours. We’ve appealed our request for reimbursement and hope to receive positive news. It sounded like a fun tour.
