We spent an unforgettable day with Lapland Welcome. In the morning we group of seven (aged 8 to 58) took the snowmobile tour and an hour later four of us took the cross-country skiing tour, accompanied by the fantastic guide Mattia. Mattia took us to a fairytale landscape, among snowy trees and immaculate snow, meeting only a couple of local cross-country skiers. At one point we left the marked path to follow a path he knew, to a frozen lake. Although we were all beginners, Mattia with kindness and patience explained the rudiments, followed us constantly and encouraged us to enjoy the peace and nature of this wonderful place. He also took some beautiful photos, which we received in the following days. We were really happy to be accompanied by Mattia: professional, prepared and always attentive to everyone. We absolutely recommend Lapland Welcome for an authentic and well-organized experience in Lapland!

My first cross country skiing with Lapland Welcome was phenomenal. As a beginners, my husband and I had the most patient instructor who tied up even our shoes for us. Once on the trail Gustaw taught us the ABC’s of cross-country skiing and the adventure began. After a couple of falling (just another part of the fun) we had a break for some hot beverage and Finnish cookies. We ended up skiing on a frozen lake. I always felt safe and confident with our instructor. I’m delighted we picked this activity in Rovaniemi, now is already included as my favorite in the snow.

The tour was awesome. Deserves more than 10 stars. Rita was an amazing tour guide. It was our 1st time skiing. Me and my wife had the time of our life. Highly recommended tour. The scenery was beautiful 😍

This was one of the best outdoor activities I've done in a long time, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting and fulfilling adventure. It was an incredible experience . Our guides Reetta and Lauri were super nice. We are a family with kids and we are beginners but our guides were very patient and always in the best disposition to make us enjoy the tour ! Also, they provided all the equipment we needed

We had an amazing experience of cross country skiing for the first time. Our guide was very friendly, informative and tailored the tour well to suit more experienced skiers alongside a beginner group. Would recommend!

Great beginner and refresher cross country skiing experience,with a brilliant,patient lady instructor. Very helpful staff,any equipment needed is provided.Good meeting place,easy to find. Transfer by minibus provided to local forest ski picturesque location. Family friendly,we were with a family group with children.Hot drinks and snacks provided. Excellent fun and good exercise.A great activity.

Fabulous half day trip! All of us were first timers - our guide explained everything clearly, had a smile on his face the whole time and continuously checked on everyone - each going at our own pace. I’ve only been skiing twice and didn’t actually like it. I booked this as my partner wanted to try cross country and I’m so glad I did. The track has grooves in it which your skis slot into, making it so much easier than downhill skiiing. I can’t recall our guide’s name but he was originally from Chile and was super patient with all our group. We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
