Driver/Robert very knowledgeable of subject matter and tour highlights. Been to DC twice and this is the first time I’ve seen the Iwo Jima monument!

Nice to get away from the city and into a beautiful site along the Potomac River. Very nicely restored home and grounds. Everyone knowledgeable and friendly!

We understood that we would be stopping in Alexandria for a short time, not just driving through. On the way back, we asked that we be let off to meet family. We then lyfted it back.. The actual tour of Vernon was good, too much construction and yard rehabing for my taste however.

Mt Vernon was great!! Our van driver/tour guide not so good. He talked A LOT & not about sights very much. He was a bit combative & erratic. His train of thought was sorely lacking. He’d go off on tangents about his personal life, cutting remarks to passengers.

Our driver/guide was very punctual and knowledgeable. He was also very entertaining. The tour was informative. The only downside was the rain.

It was a great tour. The drive there through Alexandria was really nice. Great town I would live to go back and visit. Your was well organized and we had plenty of time to tour the house and grounds. It is a beautiful plantation and learned a lot of history about George and Martha Washington. Our driver, Robert, was awesome. He was very personable and humorous and was very well educated in his history of DC overall and if Mount Vernon specifically. I would highly recommend this tour.

Mount Vernon was beautiful and worth seeing it. My problem was with our guide. He wore a t shirt that was sexually explicit, showing two people engaging in a very disgusting sexual act. I was embarrassed to be seen with him. The shirt was not only vulgar and disgusting, but totally inappropriate as a guide on a trip and a terrible representative of this business. I was grateful there were no children on this tour. The bus also had many broken seat belts.

Easy to book tour to explore Mount Vernon house and grounds. Ideal if you are in DC with no car and want a visit to somewhere nearby that will add to your understanding of the history of this part of the world. With our friendly informative guide this was a great half day trip.

3 hours is enough time to get an overview. Alot to see. Theater experience is entertaining and informative. Driver was entertaining but van was rough. Exhibit is well worthwhile.
