水原は朝鮮時代の 4 つの主要な地方政府の中心地の 1 つでした。都市を守るために築かれた華城は、その歴史的価値が認められ、1997 年 12 月 12 日にユネスコの世界文化遺産に登録されました。城では毎日さまざまな公演が行われるほか、毎年秋には水原華城文化祭が開催されます。城壁は八達山を中心に5,700キロメートルにわたって延びている。 1794 年から 1796 年にかけて建設されたこの城塞は、正祖大王の父に対する親孝行の表れであり、独自の経済力を備えた新たな開拓都市を建設するために建てられました。
韓国民俗村では、文化体験、シャーマン信仰、季節の風習などを通じて、朝鮮時代後期の伝統文化を国内外の観光客に紹介しています。朝鮮時代の家屋を復元して昔を再現しました。農楽（農民音楽）、馬上の武道、伝統的な結婚式などのパフォーマンス、その他の特別なイベントが季節ごとに開催されます。特に、毎年5月に開催されるイベント「ようこそ朝鮮へ」は、訪問者を過去へ連れて行きます。さらに、15 のエキサイティングなアトラクションを備えた家族向けのテーマパークもご利用いただけます。市場通りではさまざまな韓国料理を味わうこともできます。

Hi Hyundai was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions his personality was a perfect fit for us. I highly recommend him
We visited Suwon and were guided by Richard, who presented the site clearly. He was very attentive annd took care of all our needs. Unfortunately, a sudden rain cut the day short.
Richard our guide was great and very knowledgeable. Hwaseong Fortress is amazing. It’s a bit outside Seoul but the car was lovely and comfortable The folk village was excellent esp the museum part.
Booking got cancelled with no explanation and the date I booked is still available to book on here..
Transportation was good, a nice van. We were only two guests. Our guide was very friendly and talkative. He was very interested in our home land. Unfortunately he didn't know anything about the fortress. The folk village he managed to cover with basic knowledge about Korean culture. I'm not sure, if he's role is normally a guide.
<p>Really nice and kind guide. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. For example he gave out tips about Seoul and what to eat.</p>
<p>This was a private tour and our tour guide was great. I would have preferred some "on my own time" to shop or wander around but I don't think that's how this tour is set up to be.</p>
<p>Interesting day,you get to find out a lot about Korean culture.</p>
<p>I enjoyed it but the tour guide was not very keen on us watching the shows in the Folk Village. Apparently everything got cancelled ! He was always in a hurry.</p>
