Excellent presentation. At first, I thought watching strange dances for an hour and a half would be a bit boring, but in the end, time flew by unnoticed. Pay attention to the girls' fingers during the dance: I can't imagine how they manage to bend them back so much. And this is not just dancing! It's a whole four-act story that you probably won't understand unless you Google it beforehand or read the brochure given at the entrance. Yes, to get the best seats, you need to arrive about 25-30 minutes before the start.

I have a background in dance, so I was so excited to go to this, its actually one of reasons we went to Ubud. It was everything I hoped it would be. The performers were fabulous and the costumes were stunning. The story was so beautifully performed to wonderful traditional music. The musicians were highly skilled. We arrived 40mins prior & all the seats were taken & hardly any space on ground at front, but I managed to get a spot, but its just an old carpet on the ground, so very hard. Take a cushion to sit on if you want to sit down the front.

Great way to spend an evening. The dancers were amazing, very expressive and so mesmerising. Highly recommend to anyone interested in theatre and dance!

An interesting and inexpensive 1 1/2 hours with several stories represented by dance. We arrived 35mins before the start, and had OK seats, with a side view. Those arriving later had poor seating, and later still Standing Room Only. Some seating areas are covered, others open.

Amazing dancing! Such a fun experience right in the heart of Ubud. Make sure to get there an hour/45 minutes early if you want a good seat.

Great show. But need to get there early to get seats…. And it’s not terribly comfortable…maybe bring a soft jacket to sit on? Also, not sure what they do when it’s raining…. It’s all outside.

Loved the show…. Truly entertaining and professional. But the seating is pretty uncomfortable for an older person.

First legong dance show for me. My impression was that the troupe performed very well and also the gamelan orchestra. Overall a very good experience.

The palace is located in the heart of Ubud, so it’s easy to get to if you’re staying in/near the center. We arrived about one hour early since we weren’t exactly sure where we needed to go and they were already allowing folks in to choose their seat. It gets pretty full so if you want a seat, with a back then try to get to the venue at least 45 minutes early. The show was very enjoyable and the performers were all very good. The band played traditional Balinese music and the dancers were very colorful and well choreographed. The tickets don’t cost mush and I think it was a great value.
