⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Asia Scenic Cooking School – 10+ out of 5! An Absolutely Magical Evening! If I could give Asia Scenic Cooking School 10 stars out of 5, I absolutely would! This was one of the highlights of our time in Chiang Mai and an experience I would recommend without hesitation to anyone visiting the city. Saturday 10th October 2026 - We were lucky enough to have Asia Scenic Cooking school recommended by Montira at Amanor, an amazing hotel in Nimman, and what a recommendation it turned out to be! A massive shoutout to Tommy who came to pick us up from our hotel, whose enthusiasm, warmth and knowledge during pickup set the tone for a fantastic evening. From the very beginning, you could tell this was going to be something special. Our group was a wonderful mix of three Germans, one Dutch, two Irish and the two of us Aussies. We came together as strangers but were soon laughing, learning, cooking and sharing an incredible experience. One of the things I particularly loved was that each person could choose the dishes they wanted to cook and eat, with options catering for different preferences, including meat, seafood and dietary requirements. This made the experience feel personal rather than a one-size-fits-all cooking class. The absolute star of the evening was Marium, who led our cooking class and made the whole experience truly magical. Her knowledge of Thai food, her coaching, her patience and her beautiful teaching style were simply extraordinary. She made everything accessible, fun and engaging, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere where everyone felt included and encouraged. Her passion for Thai cuisine was infectious! I took on more of a sous-chef role while everyone else did the cooking, but I was made to feel completely involved and a genuine part of the experience. It was a wonderful example of how inclusive, thoughtful and engaging the team is. And then there was the food! Delicious, fresh, full of flavour and so satisfying to prepare and enjoy together. Learning about Thai ingredients, techniques and flavours before sitting down to eat our creations made the evening even more rewarding. The value for money was extraordinary for such a memorable evening filled with wonderful food, great company, hands-on learning and genuine Thai hospitality. A huge thank you to Tommy, Marium and the entire Asia Scenic team for an experience that exceeded every expectation. If you are in Chiang Mai and considering a Thai cooking class, put Asia Scenic at the very top of your list. Don't hesitate – just book it!
