Sandra showed me the city and even asked me about my preferentes to check one or other places. She also explain a lot about the local culture and history.

I booked this for my first day here as a solo traveler to get familiarized with my surroundings and explore markets and car free zones, and some Memorial sites. This tour didn’t disappoint, and I feel more confident to explore now (and I am hooked on moto taxis!). In fact I booked a second evening tour with Seth and Sandra, and I’m very looking forward to it. I am creating my refined of questions and foods I want to try now and I know they will steer me in the right direction. Thank you Sandra and Seth!

It was such a pleasure meeting Sandra and learning about her city. She was patient and took her time to ensure that I received the experiences I wanted. She even gave me an opportunity to ride a moto which I wanted to do but was nervous. The tour felt personal and beautiful, like an old friend showing me around.

Sandra and her friend Seth were fantastic guides. Besides showing us the city, the conversations were just as important - sweet, fun, and smart young people who shared their stories and lives. Talked about what it's like to be young in Kigali and their hopes and dreams for the future. It is clear that they are proud of their country! They can certainly be! I have so much respect for how hard they work and how positive and proactive they are! Sandra wants to start her own tourism business one day... and no one in the world deserves success more! We tasted African coffee, cassava, tree tomatoes, and other things we wouldn't have tried on our own. Loved the market where Sandra got us some good prices on mangoes and baskets, and the motorcycle ride from one end of town to the other was nerve-wracking but brilliant. So cool!!!

This guided tour was one of the best parts of my trip. We went on a guided walk where we met locals, tasted fresh fruit, visited the market, and rode around on motorbikes. But the best part was Sandra 🩷. It was clear that she knew the locals and was very well liked. She also helped us get a fair price at the market — and trust me, we needed all the help we could get!

Sandra was the perfect guide for me to get to know Kigali better. She has excellent communication skills, in-depth local knowledge and great empathy. She’s brilliant! Thanks, Sandra. You took the time to treat me to an iced coffee, next time let’s have a Mūtzig. 😂
