In general the communication was lacking. Even though I chose English as our language of choice, the tour guide spoke very little English. Beyond telling us how much time we had at each location, he was unable to tell us where we were going, why we were going there or any historical significance. The itinerary stated we would have 40 minutes to wonder Canon Beach and get lunch. However, we were given 2 lunch choices, one of them being McDonalds, and we were not in Canon Beach at the time. We were also not given the 40 minutes to wonder. We were also, not given the 45 minutes to explore Indian Beach. The tour guy did allow is another 10 minutes to explore Canon Beach when we questioned not being taken there at all.

Since Haystack Rock is the main highlight of Cannon Beach, the ample time spent at Haystack Rock was indeed the dedicated time for Cannon Beach. There might have been a misunderstanding that they were two separate locations. * Dining Recommendations: To help optimize your time, we suggested McDonald's, as well as the famous Mo's Seafood & Chowder in Seaside, where you spent about 50 minutes enjoying your lunch. * Amenities: We provided a cooler on board stocked with chilled bottled water and chocolates for you throughout the journey. * Tour Duration & Service: Although the itinerary was originally scheduled for 8 hours, we extended the total time to 9 hours to ensure a complete experience. We also genuinely appreciate the tip you provided. * Extra Care: We also specially prepared fresh, cool bananas for your refreshment during the tour.
