ギザの大スフィンクスは、エジプトと世界で最も象徴的なモニュメントの一つです。 ライオンの体と男性の頭を持つ石灰岩の像で、ファラオ・カフレ（ギザの第二ピラミッドの建設者）を表していると考えられています。 スフィンクスは全長約73メートル、高さ約20メートルで、古代世界最大の一枚岩像である。 真東、朝日に向かっており、ギザ台地の有力な守護者として見られた。 像は4500年以上前（紀元前2500年頃）のものである。 失われた鼻と髭は有名な謎である—ほとんどの歴史家は、後の時代に破壊されたと考えている。

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience visiting the pyramids, and our guide made the tour truly unforgettable. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and cultural significance of the site, and they explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Throughout the tour, they were friendly, professional, and attentive to our group’s needs. They answered all of our questions with patience and shared fascinating details that we would never have learned on our own. Their enthusiasm for the history of the pyramids was contagious and made the experience even more enjoyable. My 11-year-old son thoroughly enjoyed the tour as well and found the stories and history fascinating. The only thing he didn’t enjoy was the hot temperatures, but that’s all part of visiting such an incredible place! I highly recommend this guide to anyone visiting the pyramids. Had the best time exploring around the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Our guide was very accommodating and we were given a lot of time to explore every area. Our guide Mostafa, was very friendly and well versed in the history aspect. Additionally, he took us to see how papyrus is made and to a natural essence shop which was on the way to the museum.
