This was an amazing experience. We learnt about all the different types of gems and ones found in Sri Lanka. We then looked at lots of ring designs to help inspire our own rings. The workshop was detailed and showed us traditional and more modern methods used. We got the most amazing ring and some free gems to take home.
I had the best experience at this local jewellery workshop. It’s a family run business and even lunch was provided (home-made, of course). They also provided lots of snacks, water and tea. They really took the time to look into my ideas and fulfill my dream jewellery. I could decide everything myself, from the design to the stone and the texture of the silver. I also learned a lot about gems themselves. During the making process, I could join and help in every step, as far as was possible and safe. In the end, I had amazing jewellery for a fair price. I would recommend 100%
It was one of the best experiences in Sri Lanka. These people are so friend, not pushy and ready to help you with every question you have. I will definitely come again if I come to Sri Lanka and they are also great professionals too
