Good basic tour of downtown. Overpriced compared to other walking city tours I’ve done, but welcome to Switzerland.

Rude Staff & an Underwhelming Experience
When we asked staff at the Tourist Office, the woman acted like we committed some sort of cardinal sin. She was extremely rude, and provided very sparse instructions to the restroom that was multiple floors down in a train station. Our tour guide, Nicole, singled us out in front of the entire group asking us in an accusatory manner if we were with the group. We had previously checked in with her and provided our tickets, so this came as a shock. It truly disrupted our experience, and we felt shocked and upset. Many tour guests spent the remainder of the tour staring at us. Staff was very unfriendly, we would advise all to not booking this tour.

Dear Nicou
Thank you very much for your feedback and for taking the time to let us know about your experience during the city tour. We are always grateful for feedback from our guests, as it enables us to continuously improve our services.
We are very sorry that you had a negative experience before the start of the city tour. We regret very much that this affected your overall impression. The experiences you have described also do not meet our expectations or the standards of the city tours we normally offer.
However our guides need to check that all participants are part of the tour group to ensure that only authorised people take part in the tour. We are very sorry that this was done a second time in your case, and we understand that this can lead to an unpleasant situation.
Your comments have been shared with the team and will be reviewed internally so that such situations can be avoided in future.
We hope that, despite this experience, you were still able to enjoy your stay in Lucerne.
Kind regards,

Lucern Walk
Walking tour not a drive. We originally thought this was a bus tour. Not a big deal just not marketed correctly.

Excellent tour of the city!
Anna Marie was wonderful! She spoke clearly with a lovely Swiss accent, but was easily understood. Her tour was informative and included many historical dates and events that provided us a lens into the medieval times of Luzern.
