Before the luau you can check out local crafts for sale, pose for photos, enjoy the generous open bar, the live Hawaiian music, and a big variety of typical hulas being danced. The covered open-air venue is very large with many people and they work hard to have everyone get the best view from their seat. Everything is managed easily including the buffet lines which are short and move quickly. There is a big variety of food, pretty tasty. You are sure to find foods that deserve a second serving. The show is a history story with a wide variety of hulas, costumes, and drama. The sound is good , the lighting and sets are beautiful. The dancers work very hard to make a great show. They deserve strong applause at the end from all who decided not run out to their cars. How rude.

Wonderful experience. Did the train ride prior to the luau it was really worth the time we learned about the history of the plantation and different things about the island. The train stops so you can feed wild boar and horses, and a donkey which was a highlight for the kids. Highly recommend this luau and the entire experience. The show was beautiful. The food was delicious. They’re extremely organized. They have vendors on property prior to the luau that you can visit that are artisans that have beautiful handmade goods.

I have been to many luaus. This was by far the best one. The performers, story, and food were wonderful. It was highly organized and entertaining. The setting on the plantation was gorgeous. The train ride was fun with the kids. It was perfect in every way.

Lovely evening. We rode the train, fed animals, saw orchard and crop plants, shopped at local artisan stalls, had a wonderful dinner at the manor, heard a Don Ho-type singer with a hula dancer, and the saw the show which conveyed a story.

I went to a Luau on the main island at 16, and it was awesome but this was completely different. I was NOT expecting that. It’s a whole production, the talent of the people who are in this show is astonishing!! The way the blend the history, with authentic heritage and theater is really amazing. At first we were really just looking for something more mellow and we wanted to get as authentic experience as possible, but this place gives you what you may for. Excellent food, free drinks, and and AMAZING show.

The train beforehand was great for the grandchildren. The food was very good and the tropical drinks were nice. But the show was one of the best luau shows I have seen,it had a theme and story, easy to follow. Seats are all around the stage so able too see it up relatively close.

We had a fantastic time at Luau Kalamuku in Kauai. The show itself was easily 5 stars—large cast, great storytelling, excellent dancing, and the fire twirler was truly outstanding. Everything felt well-organized and professional from start to finish. The food was good too and complemented the overall experience nicely. What truly set this luau apart, though, was their customer service. My elderly relative became sick the day before and had to go to urgent care, so he (and his spouse who was helping him recover) were unable to attend. Even though we didn’t cancel with the required notice, the staff at Luau Kalamuku still issued a full refund for both of them. That level of compassion and flexibility is rare and deeply appreciated. Thank you for making a difficult situation easier and for delivering such a memorable evening. We would gladly recommend Luau Kalamaku to anyone visiting Kauai!

Both the train ride and luau were fantastic. The whole family really enjoyed it. The show was entertaining

Very well managed food was ok for such a large number and the show was great. Parking went well and we had no problems leaving.
