We really enjoyed exploring Cam Kim by bicycle. The countryside was beautiful and peaceful, and the route was easy and enjoyable. There were several stops to see local crafts and learn about traditional ways of life. Making rice paper ourselves was a fun experience, and we also enjoyed stopping for a local coffee. Andy made us feel welcome throughout the trip. A great activity for anyone visiting Hoi An who wants to see something beyond the Old Town.
This private bike tour was a fantastic way to experience everyday life around Hoi An. We cycled through small villages, met local families, watched traditional mat weaving, and learned how rice paper is made. Andy explained everything clearly and shared interesting stories about the local community. It was more than just a cycling trip; it gave us a real insight into Vietnamese culture. Excellent morning cycle tour! Really calm cycling through the rice paddies and countryside areas. Andy shared great information and arranged for me to try my hand at farming, weaving a mat, carving wood and making noodles with locals before we sat down for a drink in the shade in hammocks. Highly recommend to solo travellers and groups visiting Hoi An

Our countryside bike tour with Andy was one of the highlights of our time in Hoi An. From the moment we left the city, Andy made us feel welcome and comfortable. His English was excellent, and he shared so many interesting stories about local life, traditions, and the history of the villages we visited. He also paid close attention to our safety while cycling, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience. The tour took us far beyond the typical tourist areas. We visited a traditional rice wine family, learned how sleeping mats are still made by hand, and stopped at a local rice noodle workshop where we enjoyed a delicious bánh mì. Every stop felt authentic and gave us a deeper understanding of the countryside around Hoi An. What made this experience so special was Andy's local knowledge and genuine connection with the people we met along the way. It felt less like a tour and more like spending time with a local friend who was proud to share his community with us. Andy was absolutely wonderful and easily one of the best parts of our trip to Vietnam! We booked a last-minute, two-hour rice tour around Hoi An, and Andy was incredibly flexible, understanding, and accommodating to our request. My mom wasn’t able to bike, so Andy took his own motorbike so she could join us comfortably. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we could all enjoy the experience. He showed us three different rice paddies, shared interesting history and local knowledge, and took us along beautiful country roads. He was very easy to follow, and we always felt completely safe with him. Beyond the tour itself, Andy is just such a kind, genuine, and wonderful person. We are so glad we got the chance to meet him, and we’re incredibly grateful that Google recommended him to us. We prefer taking our time and exploring at our own pace rather than being part of a large group, and having a private experience with Andy was absolutely perfect for us. Easily a 10/10 experience. We highly recommend booking a tour with Andy if you’re in Hoi An!
