There were so many different shuriken designs to choose from, and making my own was such a fun experience! I highly recommend visiting this place if you’re in Kyoto. It’s definitely worth it!!!
I honestly didn't know what to expect walking in, but this ended up being one of the highlights of my entire Japan trip. The instructor was warm, funny, and incredibly patient — he walked me through every step of making my own shuriken from scratch: grinding, forging, oxidizing, and wrapping. My hands were shaking the whole time! By the end I had an actual throwing star, which is now proudly sitting on my shelf at home. thank you very much!
Sonjo was a great teacher. We had fun creating a little shuriken as a souvenir for my Japan trip.
Very fun activity to do the shuriken activity, with a Japanese staff who are fluent in english (Thanks Sojo san for assisting me in this activity)

The experience was amazing!! Our guide was super helpful, and the we had so much fun making our throwing stars and naruto kunai knives. Plus, it was cheap. I HAD SO MUCH FUN!

This was an amazing experience the guide was very nice and patient I went 30 minutes over my time and he was still cool and chill. Also you get to have a ninja star.
