The entire day was seamlessly organized, starting from our prompt hotel pickup.The spice farm was incredibly interactive—we got to see, smell, and taste fresh cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla right from the plants. Afterward, our guide led us through the beautiful, maze-like streets of Stone Town. Their deep knowledge of the island's Arabic, Indian, and African history really brought the architecture and historical landmarks to life. From the moment we were picked up by our driver Youssuf, to Ramadan, our guide at the Spice Farm, and finally Abdul, who guided us through Stone Town it was an absolutely wonderful day from start to finish! Abdul was incredibly friendly, funny, informative, and above all, very helpful. He guided us through Stone Town and took the time to explain everything in detail. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot that day, so at our own request, we had to shorten the tour a little. A special thank you also goes to Youssef, our driver. He was very friendly and helpful as well, and during the drive he shared many interesting stories and facts about the history and culture of Zanzibar. Absolutely loved our 3-hour walking tour! Our guide brought the history of the island to life, weaving through the Arabic, Indian, and African influences flawlessly. Seeing the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, and Freddie Mercury’s childhood home was unreal.
