I had a fabulous visit to Istanbul thanks to Brit & Berat and my fabulous guide Koray! As a solo female traveler going to Istanbul for the first time, I was a bit nervous. I wanted to have a guide with me to help me navigate the city, communicate with locals and learn a bit along the way. I also liked the idea of having transportation arranged as well. The drivers showed up at my hotel on time and were professional. The cars were clean and always had water and snacks. My guide, Koray, was an absolute gem. He was with me for both of my tour days, and made my time in Istanbul memorable and fun. His love and knowledge of Istanbul was evident in the quality of the tour. He was a pleasure to be around as well as a wealth of information. He added more depth to my knowledge of the city and history and I got to enjoy my first Turkish coffee in the Grand Bazaar (thanks Koray). If I have the privilege of returning to Istanbul, I will book with them again.

I'm confident that if you book a tour with Yakuphan, you will not be disappointed. Our day started with pickup from our hotel before visiting the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and Hagia Sophia. Throughout the day, Yakuphan shared an incredible amount of information about Istanbul’s architecture, history, culture, and people. We also stopped for food, coffee, and a couple of special attractions along the way, which made the experience feel much more personal than a standard sightseeing tour. What stood out most was Yakuphan’s patience and depth of knowledge. He took the time to answer all of our questions and clearly has a genuine passion for Istanbul and its history. I probably only retained a fraction of everything he shared, but I left wanting to research more on my own, which I think says a lot about the quality of a guide. My wife made the booking, and she absolutely hit it out of the park. Brit & Berat was a great choice, and Yakuphan is a one-of-a-kind guide. You’ll leave knowing far more about Istanbul than when you started, while also realizing just how much more there is to learn. We had the absolute BEST experience with Brit and Berat in Istanbul! From start to finish, they made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable - especially traveling as a large group with kids. Every ride was incredibly punctual and seamless, which took so much stress out of getting around, and to and from the airport. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us such a wonderful experience seeing Istanbul’s main sites. And the hamam experience they arranged for me and my girlfriend was truly unforgettable—we will remember it forever! Having someone we could rely on for transportation, tours, and logistics meant we could relax and actually enjoy our time together instead of worrying about the details. The plan was to arrive at the Istanbul Airport in the middle of the night after a long flight so having a trusted driver waiting to take us to our hotel was important. Brit (and Berate) popped up on FB so after some comparison shopping, decided to try them for Airport roundtrip transfers. We also booked a city tour the next day. With our booking we got excellent instructions with pictures and easily met our driver. Nice private van with water (thanks Alex). Right to our hotel. Whew. The next day our car and guide arrived promptly at our hotel and off we went for the day. The tour was perfect and Deniz was amazing. Educational, fun and low key (Just our speed)... Got our steps in seeing the important sights, ate a traditional Turkish lunch, AND got our shopping on! (smile). Finally, trip back to the airport on our final day was easy, on time, and with a familiar face! I highly recommend Brit and Berat for great experiences and peace of mind. Super happy I found them and would do it again.

Words could not express our deepest gratitude to Brit and Berat for the wonderful time we had in Istanbul. We had twenty in tge group and we all enjoyed every moment. From the timing of pickup, the grand transportation, the fantastic guide and the personalyzed itinerary was amazing. I just happen to see their ad in Instagram and was Fortunate I found them. I found Brit & Berat on facebook of all places!! Did a little research and decided to use them for our 4-day stop over in Istanbul following our African Safari. What a great find!!! Easy pick up from the airport (they even waited at least 45 minutes because one person in our party of 6 had some issues getting through customs). We had 3 jammed packed days of touring with a guide who knew so much and was eager to share his knowledge and proud to show us this amazing city. Their restaurant recommendations were top notch and they brought us to the most wonderful place to buy hand woven Turkish carpets from the sweetest guy who owns the most esteemed store in Istanbul. I cannot have imagined a better experience.
