Pick up was organized and our Guide Theodora was very good. She was extremely knowledgeable discussing the historical Olympic Site . The van driver was also very good . Visibility from the van was good regardless of seat and group size was small. Only disappointment was having just 45 minutes to spend in the town of Olympia. Olympia is a beautiful little town with many outdoor cafes and shops. We had hardly any time to visit . Since the tour was morning , being able to eat lunch and visit the local shops would have been ideal.

Having clear meeting points and a well timed coach transfer meant we got to see both the main archaeological grounds and nearby museum without constantly checking the clock.

Olympia is an open fairly peaceful area, although it can get busy when several tour groups arrive at the same time. I'd honestly try to go earlier in the day because there isn't a huge amount of shade and the walking adds up. The tour itself was well organised, and having someone handling the arrangements a meant we could just focus on enjoying Olympia rather than worrying about the logistics. My main tip would be comfortable shoes, water and a hat you'll be walking an exposed archaeological site.

Our tour guide Jimmy was amazing! He picked us up in time, had lots of information about the history and other facts for the area. He personalized our day making g us feel special and cared for❤️ Would definitely recommend him for future tours!!

We considered going on our own, but glad we didn’t. The logistics from Katakolo to Olympia are simple with a tour like this. The guide helped make sense of what we were looking at. Without that, it might just feel like ruins. The free time in the village was a nice touch. Overall worth it.

Compared to other excursions we’ve done, this one felt less rushed. The group size was manageable, which helped a lot. The kids didn’t feel overwhelmed. We also had time to grab something in the village. It’s not a luxury experience, but comfortable enough. Worked well for us.

Everything ran on time, which is important with cruises. The visit to Ancient Olympia was interesting, but we could’ve stayed a bit longer. The museum part felt slightly rushed. The guide was friendly and answered questions. Transport was comfortable. Good overall, just a bit fast.

I joined this tour solo and found it quite easy. Everything was organized from the port, so no stress figuring things out. The guide gave enough background to understand what we were seeing. The visit to the museum added a lot, honestly. It can get crowded at times. Still, a good introduction to Olympia.
