I absolutely loved this guided tour and can wholeheartedly recommend it! It exceeded all my expectations. If you’re looking for historical facts, culture, legends, and lots of fun facts, this is definitely the tour for you. It truly captures everything Osaka stands for. I laughed so much and had the best experience! Shems was absolutely lovely and explained everything so well. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole tour so much fun. If you’re visiting Osaka, you should definitely book this tour — it’s a fantastic way to discover the city and learn so much along the way!

I wanted to try something more than just a ‚normal‘ walking tour - this just hit the spot! It was the perfect mix of history and culture, learning more about the Japanese traditions. The tour was well planned out and the guide was great at story telling, making the old stories and spirits come to life. :) I would book the tour again - I highly recommend!

It was a very educational and beautiful walking tour. Our whole family enjoyed hearing about Osaka Castle and seeing the night of the city streets. Most of all, our guide, Jame, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you.

The tour was overall enriching and intriguing. Our guide, Shems, was knowledgeable and proficient in English, so he could answer my questions in vivid detail, explain things eloquently and expand into wider varieties of topics including the origins of the Japanese language. We also toured the nooks and crannies of the city, visiting historical alleyways which house temples with an abundance of stories despite their scale; it was a breath of fresh air since it’s rather difficult for us tourists to navigate them. And surprisingly, we walked a lot less than expected since the sites in Namba were very close to each other. Genuinely speaking, this tour exceeded my expectations in every way. I would love to book with them again!

What a tour. The guide Shems told my self and my wife about the history of Osaka and Japan. I was totally unaware of the significance of Osaka and how it shaped the future of Japan. 5 stars!!!!

This was the best tour we had in Japan! The timing was absolutely perfect to explore the grounds of Osaka castle, and the light rain made it that there was practically no one around. We were shown some of the best viewing spots of the castle as we learned about the legends and folklore. Was great finishing up in dotonbori with a guide, and loved hearing some modern legends as well.

Shems is an amazing guide and we loved his tour. He brought a unique perspective that made the experience even more memorable. What we really liked was how he explained Osaka through both its history and mythology. The mix of facts and stories made it a really interesting way to learn about the city, and we ended up picking up a lot we wouldn’t have otherwise known. The tour also took us to a few different neighbourhoods using the metro, which was a nice way to see more of the city beyond the usual areas. Shems is super knowledgeable, incredibly personable and easy to talk to. It was clear that he really wanted us to enjoy our tour - and we very much did! The tour was relaxed, informative, and genuinely fun. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Can't recommend Shems highly enough!
