Our 5-6 hour personal tour of the Rheinfalls near Schaffhausen and the nearby town of Stein am Rhine was everything we had hoped for. The driver from Swiss Journey, Albert, arrived on time at our pickup point, and the whole trip unfolded as we had hoped. We worked with Albert to adjust a bit our desired stops. For example, we didn’t “do” the boat in recommended boat time excursion in favor of time to drive through Schaffhausen and Neuhausen am Rhein to park at the Schössli Wörth in Neuhausen so we could observe a he falls from water level downstream to see the entire width of the falls. We spent less time at Stein am Rhine only because we had an extended lunch at Hotel Restaurant Fels (excellent suggestion by Swiss Journeys) - some of the best freshwater fish we’ve ever eaten in our lives. It’s a very pretty town, worth the stop. Albert was an excellent driver. Observed the speed limits exactly, focused on his driving, but was also very friendly, appropriately asked if we were happy with our day, asked about comfort in his nice Skoda Octavia sedan (perfect for us) and supplied bottled water. We cannot say enough good things about him and our day‘s experience. Worth the trip cost and the gratuity! I continue to rely on Viator for long-planned and last-minute excursions. Oh yes, one final point - Viator, Swiss Journeys, and Albert were great communicators. GO!

Rhine Falls is a must! Pascal was attentive to our needs, had lots of great suggestions and accommodated our schedule.

Our driver was Marian. He was a wonderful driver and very friendly. He picked us up right at our hotel Also offered to make stops for pics, etc. The owner Mauricio was great with communication. He recommended a very nice restaurant for lunch in lovely Steinham. Its a great reat way to spend a day outside of Zurich. Only 45 minutes away.

The tourist trip was a unique experience. I loved knowing and enjoying the wonderful landscapes of that part of Switzerland. The waterfalls and the town of Stain. The transportation service was 100 points.

I had an excellent experience visiting Rhine Falls from Zurich, The trip was very comfortable. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the whole ride felt like a perfect day trip, the driver was really kind and friendly, which made the whole experience even more special. Everything was well organized and the company was great. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore Switzerland in a comfortable and memorable way!
